I hired a String Quartet for my ceremony and cocktail hour. If you hire them for cocktail hour only it's $695. http://www.vstringq.com/ You can listen to clips on their site. They also play string versions of contemporary songs- that sounds really cool. Plan to have to close out the cocktail hour this way.

Percussionist will play the timbales/congas ect during the reception to accompany the dj. It's a GREAT effect....but it has to be done right. I've been to a few weddings where you couldn't even hear the drummer. What a waste.

Ive heard alot of girls talk about FM, im waiting because my FH knows a woman from court that had her wedding recently and had a fabolous dj so i want to see what his price is and how good is song selection is

I think im going to check out both elegancia and fm entertainment cause i want the 'name in lights' maybe..... i think i dont want it anymore lol cause ppl will b dancing on it, and it might be uncomfortable.... what do you think? like i dont want lights in no ones eyes
