I'm sorry... I wish I had the answer to your question, but I just have gotten that far with my planning yet. Hoping this response will bump the thread to someone who has.

I did not do that. Truthfully, I would not think that they would give their flowers to another florist to use but that's JMO. Your best bet is to actually call the florist since we can only provide you with information on our experience.

Hi

Just wanted to let all the Milleridge brides know that i had my shower at the Inn on Sunday and everything was great. I know some had concerns of the cake (especially me) but the cake was delicious it was not dry at all- we had strawberry filling and they did an awesome job of decorating the cake.

Eogara,

Gorgus!!!!

Did they decorate like that w/ all the grenery or did you do that?

Are prices neg. on a sat. Night? Are they reasonable, it's so beautiful, I think I need to check them out

Soon2BeMrs.S - thank you! If you're talking about the ceremony room, I did not pay for any of the decorations you see, at least not directly. It was all included in the ceremony fee, which is incredibly reasonable compared to other venues. I'm not sure how 'negotiable' they are but definitely give them a call. The prices they start with are great - DH and I think it's LI's best kept secret

Dani112305 - you're added! Welcome aboard

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

eogara,

Thanks for the info, FH was raised Jewish also & I raised cathlioc so we need a place that's neutral, even though we're going to incorporate both traditions.

What did they charge for a ceremony fee? If you don't mind

I spoke w/ Nadine today she said they're not neg. except Jan-April, is this true?

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

I don't have the rates on hand, but I would say it would be really hard to negotiate for a summer wedding since those dates are so in demand. It's probably much less competitive earlier in the year and therefore they have more wiggle room with the pricing. I think you might find on this thread how people have gotten some things thrown into their package but have still paid what is on their rate sheet. Good luck!

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

Thanks there rates were alot lower than we expected espically w/ all they give

Where Carridge House Brides Happy w/ the room, the service, etc?

Did you see Cottage Brides?

Cottage Brides anyone remember the minimun amount of people?

Thanks ladies it's so hard to choose, I love it but now I want to make sure I make the right decision:

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

I think a saturday night minimum was 200, or 175 if you pay a room fee.

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

WoW!!! That's so bizaree they don't have anything for 150. Wedding pro's say that 20% of your guestlist will not attend, so I guess I'm safe inviting 150, I'll Hope for the best. It's the bus. contacts that put us over

Hi,
Please add me to the list. June 17, 2006 at the cottage.

I have a question about the cocktail hour.

Where was your CH musicians located?

I am having a steel drum band and hoping for nice weather, so they will be outside, but what if....... it rains? Where will they go?

Thanks!
