Official Milleridge Thread!

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

I didn't do a tasting yet. Don't know about the diff chefs at the inn. There i sno valet included but we hired an outside vendor and I think its a few hundred dollars for this. We are also having an extra hour which affects the price of that and over 300 ppl.

Did you book Milleridge?

HTH!

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

Hello! No we didn't book yet. We've had a long engagement and are just starting to look at places. I've researched plenty though.

I was more interested in GWM, the large ballroom with all the windows, but we saw the outside in person last week and were disappointed. We're having a smaller wedding, so we're planning to look at the Carriage House. Hopefully we'll like it!

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

We just did our tasting and finalized our menu last week. You do have to preselect which 3 entrees you want to try ahead of time. You also get to try the appetizer and cocktail hour items that are being served for the wedding that day. HTH.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WITH THE 3 STAR MENU...

DID YOU GET A CHOICE OF SURF AND TURF AND ONE OTHER ENTREE

OR SURF AND TURF AND TWO OTHER ENTREES

ALSO - THIS MAY HAVE BEEN ADDRESSES BEFORE BUT DO YOU PRESELECT WHAT YOU WANT TO TRY FOR YOUR TASTING?

Surf & Turf plus 2 other entree choices (3 choices total)

Also, you can select which entrees you want to try for your tasting.

Lets keep this thread alive and currect '06 and '07 brides

Here is my question - anyone using Milleridge florist for CP's? If so, can I see pics of your samples?

Past Milleridge Brides - can I see pics of your samples too?

Trying to figure out what will look better in the room...thanks!

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

I'm thinking of using them as well......

I have some ideas in my photo album of what I'd like to do but that's all I have...

some of the reviews on this thread the girls posted pics of there flowers.

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

Yes, I'm using them. I'll have my sample centerpiece next Wednesday, I'll post some pictures.

I liked the guy (Rob) when we went in, he was very helpful and wasn't afraid to steer me away from mistakes. He had some good ideas, lots of photo albums for inspiration too.

I also spoke to Chris last week because my ceremony location needs a certificate of insurance from them, and he was very nice and said it would be done within a week.

You already get some flowers included in your package so it makes sense to go with them, you wind up saving in the long run.

Repost from BHB:

Anyone have any insight on the Maitre' D and the 'bridal attendant' at the Carraige House? It says in my contract I'll have them and I was wondering how good they are so I can determine tipping ahead of time.

But someone on the official Milleridge thread said that there was no bridal attendant at their wedding, even though they said there would be. I don't even know what the bridal attendant is supposed to be doing for me!

I'm not sure because I'm getting married at the Cottage but call your BM and ask - this is something you should definitely know.

Can't wait for your to post your sample CPS! Are you doing high or low ones?
greenfreak Posted:

Re: Official Milleridge Thread!

I'm going to see my BM this Saturday (Kristy), I'll be asking her then.

We're doing low because the ceiling isn't that high and we didn't want to block anyone's view of the dance floor, other tables, etc.

I can't wait to see the sample CP either! We're going to take it home and have a photo shoot.
