A friend and I were talking about this the other day, and thought I'd ask here...
How long after you knew FI were you 'together' an do you think he respects you any more/less because of it?

We were 'together' on the 1st date.
I've always felt if you want to have sex with someone, you should...just don't do it for the wrong reasons (hoping to make them love you, etc.) and be smart about it. We were both sexually attracted to each other. It just happened...one thing lead to another. I didn't think any less of him and obviously he didn't think any less of me. If that were the case, we wouldn't be getting married.

it was about 2 months...it definately didn't change the way either one of us looked at one another.

It was on the 4th date... I think there is the same amount of respect and the love just keeps growing.

3rd date. I knew the night I met him though that he was someone special, and vice versa. It's like we've had a mutual understanding of eachother from our first time meeting. I don't know what it is, but I'm sure you girls know what I mean.

1 year. Yup, a whole year. We were in college, I certainly wasn't innocent-but we (the choice was mutual) just didn't want to complicate the relationship too early. I think it's different for everyone, but for us I think it strengthened our relationship.
Edited to add: I don't think he respects me more or less for it.... If FH was the type to sleep w/me and then disrespect me the next day-I wouldn't want to be with him - I don't like guys who are judgemental

It was about a month after we met. He doesn't respect me any less. The respect has always been there & if anything along with our love it has grown!

we knew each other 5 years (as friends) - a week after our first kiss, we did the deed. I guess it was our first real date.

God, that was 7 years ago! I remember 'it', but they exact date # was some where around the 5th or 6th, I knew him for about a month before that. It never changed our respect for each other, than again our 2nd date was my 18th birthday & was just barely 19, I don't think we really thought about respect at all.
