FH is a little annoyed that I'm 'ready to blow the entire budget on pictures.' He acknowledges that since he hates having his picture taken he can understand why pictures aren't important to him, but he knows it's important to me.
I'm willing to splurge on the pictures/video since those are our memories.
What's 'normal' to spend on this?

Re: Photographer/videographer budget
I dont know the 'norm' but, I would say 4-6,000. I got my photographer and a differnt videographer to save some money. I know you said you were meeting with TP. That is who I met with and he is great with his packages!!!!!

Re: Photographer/videographer budget
Well...FH and I ended up spending too much on photography/video...but we fell in love with the vendor and had to have them...Im not usually like that but these pictures were absolutely breathtaking...also we knew we would go all out on pictures and just watch everything else!

Re: Photographer/videographer budget
I set out with a 5k budget, but then realized I really dont think its worth that much... to me at least... so now I'm aiming for 3k and its possible b/c another bride from LIW has done it!!!

photo and video is top priority for FH and I. we are into very creative and artsy photo/video and we love looking at pictures especially if we like the photographers style. we like a style that is very different from traditional.....
since the pictures and video are all that we really have after the wedding is over we decided that we were willing to spend $$ in those areas and cut back in other areas - like flowers (but at this rate we might not even be able to afford them!)
we didnt really set a budget for photo/video but we are spending about $8,600 for both. in the future our pictures and video will be priceless - and besides the actual ceremony and driking & dancing our pictures and video are what FH and i look foward to the most when we think about our wedding day.
