Please Help Me Calm Down or Join in my Pitty Party

Ladies,
without giving any specific details, I need your help.
LIE to me and tell me that EVERYTHING will be okay.

I feel like the past 2 weeks everything has fallen apart both with the wedding and with personal issues including FH's grandfather.

I have been crying all day and can't stop shaking.

I know, I'm lame and I'm whiney and I'm needy. If you don't like it... skip this post

Nothing is ever as crazy as it seems I'm really sorry about FH's grandfather, I'll keep him in my prayers. . . but I highly doubt that everything has fallen apart with regards to your wedding!! You have put in so much time and effort it will be BETTER THAN OKAY - IT WILL BE WONDERFUL!

Sorry you are stressing, but it will all work out!!!!!!

i had many moments like that and it is hard but you'll get through it. Even now within the past 2 weeks ive had other issues NWR to deal with and can be hard, i had to have surgery and same weekend my dad was admitted into the hospital and he is still there and will be there for quite a few more days so at least 2 weeks he'll be in there. At the same time trying to stay positive, and that we'll get through all this. I have focused alot on the wedding and try to stay in good spirits, it seems to help those around us alot. My dad likes to talk about the wedding plans now bc its something good to look forward to.

You'll get through all this and on your wedding day youll have the most amazing time

hang in there....sometimes it happens and you feel like everything that can go wrong does and everything is happening at once....but it will be okay and it will all blow over soon!

it's going to all work out fine! But in the meantime feel free to act however you want - cry - scream - yell - whatever you like if it will make you feel even a teeeeeeeny bit better

everyone goes through a minibreakdown for whatever reason. You're allowed. Sometimes its just good to get the tears out. You'll feel better. Wedding planning in itself is stressful... throw in family issues and it's even moreso. You will get through this... and you will see it all come together in the end, and appreciate it so much more. we all go through it... and more than once.

5 years of an occasional mini breakdown for me and they still haven't had me committed. You'll survive. Trust me. This is totally normal.

I'm sorry you're feeling like this right now!
Things will get better and it's a REALLY stressful time right now. You're only normal for having a little crying fest....we all need it sometimes!

I hope things are ok with FH Grandfather.

I just read your replies and it felt so nice to hear some of you say it was normal.

i'm trying to focus on the good things with the wedding and let go of the worry about the bad b/c all of that stuff is out of my control right now.

For those of you who've asked, FH's Grandfather is having open heart surgery tomorrow at 6am. We are all keeping our hopes high and putting everything into God's hands.
This man is a stubborn old Italian and if anyone can pull through this, it'll be him.

if you weren't halfway insane you would be in denial!

Take some time just for yourself. A few hours, a day a couple of days and get yourself back to where ytou need to be. Don't push through this, you need some unwind time!

i am so sorry. I know how you feel, my dad is in the hospital waiting for heart surgery. Its hard with the wedding close by but i see it as him getting done what needs to be done to get better. I pray for fh's grandfathers surgery and for a speedy recovery and when you see him at your wedding enjoying himself it will make it that much more special

everyone goes through ups and downs, and its how you handle yourself at the lowest point, and we are women, we need comfort and love soo here you go.....
