SO since the guest list got a bit outta contral FH and I were talking about canceling the HM if we just postpone it we wpnt be able to tak it until net spring!! We have $400 down on it right now that we will lose by canceling. We have to ay it off by the end of the month we didnt book airfare yet...with the airfare we still owe 3K I am sooooooooooooo upset i was really looking forward to it! FH doesnt think we should take the chance of paying for it and then get more YES RSVPS than we thought, and have to come up with another 2-3K to pay for the seats at the RH!!! ALSO if we postpone it we will be paying double cause we booked suring the 50% off promo!!! ugh!!!!!!!!!!
we are gonna make our decision in the next few weeks but i am soooooo bumed out right now. Nothing like being sick and sad at the same time
i need a hug!

we thoguht of that but we still dont think we will be able to afofrd it not until we have our final headcount anyway............hopefully people send their NO RSVPS back really quick!!!!!!!!!

but the MOST important thing is that you are getting married...you do have your whole life for vacations ... that said, i serioulsy hope you get a lot of NOOOOOOOSSSS

oh y eah and im u kno being distracted from work... and im on expedia and playing with the dates.. bc u are goign memorial week im messing withthe days after to see abotu hawaii.

You could book your HM for a later date and do something small around here.

You could do a spa day or go to a spa for a couple of days and stay local.

Sorry to hear...try to see if you could work it out and go. Didn't you just get a loan to pay off stuff? Use that for the HM, you'll regret not going!

the loan was to pay off the wedding.........we couldnt get more than what we got and we were lucky we got what we did...........i just looked at my wedding prigram and 39 are out of state.....i know at least 3 WILL come so if all the others say NO we should be ok............i just wish if they know they are not comming theyd send them right back!

This might sound really mean....but I would cut the guest list. You are so excited about the honeymoon.....does your fourth cousin twice removed really need to be invited?? lol. FH and I had the same issue. We eliminated some guests and chose a less expensive place. We tried to compromise on both ends. Good luck. I know it's a tough decision.

I don't think its the best idea to put in on a CC, so I agree with you for not wanting to do that.

If you have to POSTPONE the honeymoon, its not a huge deal. I personally don't think its worth putting yourself in more debt over.

You're going to be so ecstatic just BEING HIS WIFE that you won't miss it as bad as you think. Maybe do something small, find a nice getaway for the weekend? You can always save Sandals for your one year anniversery I'll keep you in my prayers, but I promise it will all be alright!!!
