In honor of the LIW Bridezilla Lunch yesterday, I figured I would ask a question on the same topic.

Are you a bridezilla? Have you had one note worthy bridezilla moment? Come on, you know you have stomped your feet at least once. Don't be shy!
If you refuse to admit it, who or what gets you very close to having a psycho-bridezilla-freakout?

I like to thing that I have been very good about not being one. Thank you WE channel for making us all see how DISGUSTING a bridezilla can be !

I am currently having the fight with everyone about kids being part of the wedding and or invited to the reception.
I LOVE kids dont get me wrong, but Im just not into having crying babies walking or crawling , kicking and screaming down my aisle.. I have never seen it go well..
I also have 7 nieces and nephews between the 2 of us, so i would have to have 7 FLOWER GIRLS AND RING BOYS? not 1 or 2- 7 !!!!!!!!!!

I also am not throwing a 5th birthday party, its a wedding. I don't see what is so wrong with having adults only. I dont know why everyone in my life disagrees!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am vexed about the whole thing!!!!!!

so far so good about beign a NON bridezilla... I am sure the closer it gets I will get there though!
My mom really gets me going though... she is planning everythig as if its her wedding, meanwhile FH and I are paying for it... and she actually told me taht the sone I want to walk down the aisle to doesn't go with my dress... WHAT?! lol So she brings out the zilla in me becuase I ahve to stand my ground to her - and that will bring otu the zilla I guess, but at this point I think seh may be more zilla than I am! lol
and I ahven't had any total bridezilla moments yet (crossing my fingers that it stays like that!)

Haven't been Bridezilla-but my BM told me while tying my e-party ribbons i was being a bridezilla in stating the way i wanted them tied and how to face all the tags! LOL!

OH; and over dinner when i told her i wanted to try to have my November ceremony outside but didn't want my BM's to wear shawls was a bit Bridezilla ish. BUT i've decided to get them nice Pashmina shawls matching my colors that they can wrap around their arms!

I'm definitely not a Bridezilla (yet) but FH is definitely a Groomzilla. He had a fit the other day b/c I told him I made an appointment to go see limos and that my sister was coming

I've only been engaged for 2 months so no crazy bridezilla stories just yet. I'm pretty positive they will happen, though.

Gonna be honest So far so good LOL I have not been or had any bridezilla moments..Not sure if one wont happen before the wedding tho LOL! Im very laid back and I go with the flow.. So far planning has been a blast and Im loving every minute of it. Im sure if anyone tries to ruin anything with my wedding, I will go Bridezilla lmao!

My mom is driving me crazy about where I will be getting ready. We live in Queens, and the church and reception are 45 mins away. Hopefully we see eye to eye and my bridezilla doesnt come out!

I will definitely be Bridezilla when it comes to all the little details, I am such a perfectionist that I'm worried about vendors getting everything done perfect haha!

I'm being honest, I haven't had a fit or been a bit#h yet. But I've also been really laidback about the planning and have only booked two things. Probably when I get hardcore booking I may be more anxious.

There have been several times where I had to bite my tongue at stupid remarks from people but so far, still restraining myself

I really don't think I'm a bridezilla at all - actually I think FH is more of a groomzilla! Hahaha But there is one thing that's p*ssing me off....the rehearsal dinner!!!!

Lemme back up a little bit - I originally wanted a small wedding with just the closest friends and family and I totally lost that battle. Not only are we guarenteeing 175 people but our wedding party alone is 22 people!! Anywho, the topic of the RD got brought up a few months ago and I told FH I wanted to have it at my family's favorite restaurant right by our house. He agreed and one night while we were there they told us it could host a party of 50. That night we made a list of who is invited to the RD and FH said we had to invite our aunts and uncles. I was like..ummm NO!

Our BP w/ dates, us, parents and grandparents is 49 people! If we add in both our aunts and uncles it will bring the count up to 61 people, plus I can't just have my aunts and uncles and not there kids so now your looking at 70 people and I think that's rediculous for a RD!!! It's been an on going argument but FH finally agreed - his mom doesn't know yet though and she's not gonna be happy! But that's a whole other post

Lolol! U're totally right, u're not having a brizella moment u just being cautious. Remember that episode nobody was able to find the bride's nephew, everyone was looking for him and then he fell on the lake in the middle of the wedding!! So of course u don't want things like that to happen.

I am going to say I am pretty close to 100% non-bridezilla but the only thing I've had to complain about (and every right to) is FH not calling the priest to see if he can marry us at my church. This is a priest friend of his who taught him in HS. He's even married our friends this past April so I had a chance to meet with him and he's so nice. I spoke with FH about having hi marry us and he would love that also, but now, it's getting FH to actually pick up a phone and contact him. This has been going on since April. I would really like this to be taken care of in the next few weeks because I'm tired of having this linger, plus as it stands we don't have an official priest yet because the original one is leaving my church and the back up on at my church that I was thinking about using is also leaving.

So I've resorted to bribing - he's been bltching about me getting him an EZ Pass for his car since I already have an account and I can just get another pass for his car. I said if I get you an EZ pass you need to call the priest the same day and get this done. He said fine. That was last week and I have still not ordered him an EZ pass, so technically it's might fault as well

me too.. i seriously decided i might go to a dress store (like where i got my eparty dress) and have them try on dresses that are not bridesmaidy at all.. totally different than anything anyone has seen.

Plus i want to kill 75% of my bridesmaids so I dont know what to do!

my photographer prob thinks im a bridezilla...we had like 3 long meetings before we booked, i asked 6 million ?s ... one time we were flipping thru one of the albums, and i pointed out a pic to fh - I'm like 'look, I think that's at the woodlands!' the guy was like 'ummm can u really tell that from the wallpaper?!'
guess i'm obsessed

Yes!. Weelll, in my case, I wouldn't call it bridezilla....I call it standing up for yourself and getting what you want. There is nothing wrong with wanting your special day exactly the way you want it- hopefully it will be the only wedding you have, you want to make it good. I HAVE had fits about things, but nothing ridiculous. (I haven't had a meltdown about the color of our cocktail napkins or anything.) Most of my battles, and I call them battles, have been with his parents. They are inviting everyone but the mailman to our wedding, and not giving us a penny. Finally I had to speak up and stand up for myself, and yeah, after being nice didn't work, I was bitchy about it. In addition, I asked them for their own wedding picture, so I could display it at the RH. This is the ONLY thing I asked them to do. They told me that they will give it to me a month before the wedding. Um, why do you need to dictate what month you give me a picture? WHy not now, I live 2 blocks away?? I am literally going to his grandmothers house and taking the pictures off the wall this week so I can get copies made. Can it wait? Yes. Do I want it done now? Yes.

I have had my moments, but I think it's more me getting frustrated at the incompetence/uncooperativeness of others, when the things I'm asking for aren't rocket science. I get that the world doesn't revolve around my wedding, but I'm not asking people for their kidneys.
