is budget not a question??? if not, Cipriani's , The Plaza, Waldorf Astoria..

if you're looking for a contemporary feel, look into loftspace. There are SO many for rental for weddings & such..u have to decorate & rent everything urselves but if u have a wedding planner its a great idea..

If you pick up 'Locations, Sites & Services' magazine it has every reception hall venue in ny including manhattan(and this is including most loft space venues). Give photos, price range, menu, etc. It's a good way to get ideas & narrow down. They sell it at most large magazine spots..i know for sure Barnes & Noble & Borders both sell it..and i'm pretty sure CVS and stuff have it too.. good luck!

gotham hall is absolutely gorgeous only thing is the surrounding area, i was just around there on friday bc i had to pick up something right by gotham and i was thinking how its gorgeous inside but the streets around arent great and the whole parking situation s*cks around there. Although once your guests walk in they'll probably forget about all that

Capitale-another amazing place, but same thing as above, not in a great area. Plus YOU pay for the electricity that night and infact you do it directly to the electric company, capitale puts you in contact with them and you work it all out with them

angel orensanz-another amazing location only thing is that when i read their website, it said that parties have to end about 11pm and music goes off at 10:30 so maybe call to see how true this is, but its what their site said

bridgewaters-amazing view and you can get a better price than many other city locations, beautiful place

penthouse on 5th-its open space so you have to put the work into it, but amazing view and more of a loft feeling. I know somebody who got married there and said they were great

Tribeca rooftop- amazing space great loft type space. And prices are decent compared to other city locations. I know it can be about $188 pp but might be off season not sure and dont know if that includes tax and gratuity. I wouldve loved this place but fh said no to the city bc his family would complain and they wont like the city type trendy food

You can try looking into Tavern on the Green...they have Valet parking and their grounds are BEAUTIFUL...they are always lit up!

I had my wedding at the St. Regis Hotel and would reccomend it. Depending on the style you are going for, this hotel is very european looking, it feels like you're somewhere in France. It has a very Versailles look and feel to it.

If you can afford it, you can have your wedding at the NY Public Library.

There's also a RH at Chelsea Piers, I think it's called the Lighthouse, but perhaps worth looking into.

My friend is getting married in Manhattan in 2 weeks, and it'll be at the Lotos Club (5 East 66th Street)...it's going to be a fairly small wedding, so I don't know the max it can accomodate.

A couple of others to consider: Tavern on the Green and Tribeca Rooftop

I'm not sure about the other places, but, the Waldorf.... hands down, is one of the best places.

andddd look what i found, just for you.

i think you should narrow it down based upon reviews and pics from other brides. then make an appointment to look for yourself. keep us updated! i cant wait to see which you pick!

Agree, it's stunning. Another fabulous place in NYC to get married is the Metropolitan Club. It's gooooooooooooorgeous and has a room that is to die for. Also verrrrrrry Versailles.
