Re: Remember the 80's?
My 2 cousins used to do their hair at night before bed, and sleep neat, since it took them 2 hours to do at night.I never understood the idea of sleeping neat, but ti worked for them.

I have the Official Preppy Handbook and followed it somewhat faithfully for a while. My college roommate had it and she hunted and found one for me.

Re: Remember the 80's?
This thread is still going strong! LOL love itI remember having a collection of feathered clips that I would attach to my pocketbook when I went roller skating on Friday nights. I had no clue that they were actually roach clips! I found out a year or so later. Hee hee. I think that was 1980 or 1981.
Hot Skates and Top Roller (that was before they turned it into the vendor fleamarket - the one in Oceanside on Long Beach Rd. and now it's a Marshalls). That was about 1981-1982 or even 1983
Shopper's Village! Yesssss. Remember it well.
Roosevelt Field before they put up the 2nd floor and the food court, and going there on the N15 bus.
Nathan's car nights on Tueday nights
The Outsiders...I loved C. Thomas Howell. Wonder what he's doing now.
E.T. the Extra Terrestrial
Z-100 'from worst to first' in 1983 - 1984
'Discovering' WLIR in 1986 when I had enough of Michael Jackson and Madonna. Becoming a 'Duranie' and pledging my love to John Taylor LOL
The Cure, The Smiths, New order and Depeche Mode.
Wow. Memories!!
