Is anyone adding or got the raw bar for the CH. I dont know if I should get it. A waste of money? It looks so nice decorated in a Nautical display. I am getting a variety of different seafood dishes at the CH anyways but not oysters, lobster nothing raw. Is it worth it? Maybe when I give in my second to last payment they will add it in for me at half price.

I actually almost booked at Westbury Manor, and when I told them I was thinking about the Raw Bar and the Viennese they offered me both for pretty much the price of one. This was before I was about to book, though. I can't remember the exact price, but I'm sure you could try to negotiate something at some point in the game, especically if you are going to do a few add ons.

I added the seafood bar...we visited our RH when they were setting up for a wedding and when we saw the seafood bar we had to have it.

EXACTLY, I saw pics of how its displayed and that would 'AWWW' my guests. I want to make everyone happy. My RH added in so many things so far but maybe if I negociate with them they will add the raw bar or I'll take it for half price. My family loves raw seafood but I dont, lolol

We added the seafood bar too...we love seafood. I wish I had known about negotiating before we booked. We paid full price for everything. Well...actually, they let us lower our minimum...why am I complaining.

The Rh is giving us a sushi bar but I think i'm going to ask them not to put it out because no one likes that. We are having a lot of seafood to during the CT hours as well.

Sushi! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Wasabi!!!!! If they're doing it at no added cost, why would you ask them not to do it? Or will you substitute something else?

OHHHH SUSHI, I forgot about that. Im not going to go crazy adding each and everything in though. I already have the martini bar, ice sculpture, vienese hour, coco fountain. I want the candy bar, I want it allllll. But I really think I am going to add the raw bar in and ask them to give it to me for half price. A big fat Greek wedding without big fat seafood, my family will talk, hey I am going to ask for them to pay for it, haha. I am paranoid when it comes to these things.

Yeah plus I am a HUGE seafood fan, usually what i eat so it was big with me and FH loved it when he saw the whole lobsters and the HUGE king crab legs and everything else.

yup thats what we did, added the seafood bar, vienesse and added an hour to our reception

If you're having alot of guests and have added other stuff then talk to them about taking some money off the seafood bar, it's very likely they will lower the pp price for it.
