Thom and I werent planning on it, however it seems as though to take some of the pictures we want it is necessary beacause after the ceremony it would be dark...but i dont want to be cursed with bad luck!! Also i want to be able to see people at my CH and for my BP to enjoy as much of the CH as possible.
What are you girls doing?

no we will see each other before the ceremony, the sun until 6:30 that day so we will have just enough time to take some pitures

We are going to see each other, but our coordinator at Raphael says she sets it up so it is very special, and the photographer catches the very genuine moment. I think it will calm our nerves as well. I much prefer it.

definitely not...i want him to see me walking down the aisle for the very first time. our ceremony is at 2 so we should have enough time for pictures before it is too dark. it was one of our considerations when we picked the time.

we didn't and I am so glad. Although my before wedding pics might have been a little more warmer b/c I wouldnt have been so nervous. It was soooo exciting to be thinking 'gee I wonder what Evan is feeling right now. I wonder if hes as nervous as I am'

BCTM33............Same here we are getting married at 5:30 and in the Fall simply for the scenic pictures. We are doing all pictures before the chruch. We want to enjoy every minute of our wedding!!!!!

I am running into the same problem, but I dont think I can see him before the church. I really want the first time he sees me to be when I come down the aisle. This is definitely a personal preference though. Go with your gut.

We saw each other before. It makes things much easier and more relaxed for the CH and reception.

We are not going to see one another before. My FI is very traditional and he wants to see me for the first time walking down the aisle.

Yes, we are. We are taking as many pics before the ceremony as possible so we can enjoy the CH and the reception.

We are not going to see each other before...I am excited to wait and see his reaction as I come down the aisle. We are getting married in June so (weather providing...'fingers crossed') we will still be able to take pictures outside after the ceremony

We are.... we want to enjoy ourselves as much as possible....besides it is pretty common these days to see each other to take pictures

We're not seeing each other before the wedding, but we scheduled the church so we should have enough time between church and sundown, we don't want alot of posed pics anyways.

We're not. The photographer kept insisting that it would be better to take pics beforehand so we wouldn't miss most of the cocktail hour, but I want to keep that aspect traditional.

Me too. We're going to miss some of our cocktail hour but we had it extendend a 1/2 hour. I really want the first time he sees me to be when i walk down the aisle

we are taking pictures before - it didnt make sense to us to miss out on some of the party - so we'll have to post up horseshoes for awhile but i think we'll be fine

I am so big into the tradition of not seeing the groom before the wedding .. it really is important to me.
HOWEVER we are fortunate to have a huge amount of time in between church/reception to take pics, so this isn't even an issue for us. Had this not been the case, I would have considered taking pics before and seeing him before (since pics mean a lot to me also)
Lucky for us we didn't have that dilemma

We did. We actually got ready together in our house. Okay, he sat around and read the paper while I got my hair & make up done.
I got dressed behing closed doors and they photographers/video caught the first moment we laid eyes on eachother.
I attribute the calmness of the day to the fact that we did this ... I loved that we were together and were relaxed in our home together.

Well, we live together so we are already living in sin. So we are going to have our pics before the ceremony. That way we can spend more time with our family and friends.
