I am so sorry to hear that .. if your parents offered, i'd continue with the planning and then maybe pay them back afterwards? whenever you have the money maybe?

honestly speaking i feel you should push the wedding til 2010 just so you can have enough money saved and of course if you can also have your parents help you will be better off but i don't think its smart idea you also have to think beyond the wedding and see how are you guys going to arrange rent, bills and all of that best of luck
