It's always suprising what a small world it is sometimes. It's always nice to hear about other nypd wives or couples in general that have 'different' working schedules.

My fiance also works in brooklyn housing specifically psa2. He works the 6pm-2am shift but they really start at 5:30pm. He just graduated the academy in December. It has been so hard adjusting to this new lifestyle. He use to work 7am-3pm with every Saturday and Sunday off. I miss it :(

I hate that they have to work these crazy schedules.
My FH works the midnight schedule in the city & works weekends when I am off. So we barely see eachother. It sucks but we make the best of it.

10th Precinct in Chelsea. He's been on the job for 7 years now, so that's why he's got the good schedule.

FH is in bayside now.
FH's brother is also a cop and works in Bayside at the 111.

My FH works midnights.... Which I have actually gotten used to after 3 years working that tour!! My FH has weekends off for now, which is great....but he already passed the SGT test and is on the current list.... So when he get promoted I will never see him again!!
*We also have the same problem getting everyone together because nobody is EVER off on the same days!!!

My FH is waiting to get called up into academy. He has his third minimed this month.
I'll never admit it to him, but I am secretly dreading when he gets a crappy tour:( My dad is retired NYPD and even when he was detective he always had wacky hours.
