I chose Floral Terrace b/c there is only 1 wedding there, it is an old theatre and the dance floor is raised I love that.

Also, I didn't want it at one of those popular places that people have been to 5 weddings at. I think only a handful of my guests have ever been there and I am excited for them to experience it

We knew from the second we pulled up to Giorgios that we wanted to get married there. The grounds are beautiful the food is excellent and there is only one wedding at a time

1) Only 1 wedding at a time.
2) All the windows make it so open and airy and a gorgeous view.
3) We looked at a lot of places and just didnt get 'that feeling'.

I love the look of the Grand staircase. The food was amazing!!! I love the idea of staying at the inn and having our brunch the next day

i fell in love with fox hollow years ago but back then they didnt do sat. night ceremonies
when i got engaged i called to ask and they did so i looked at a few other places but LOVED fox hollow and the WGP

...other bonus's for us is 1 affair at a time and the excellent reputation for attention to detail.

I grew up on the water and so did FH, so we really wanted somewhere with at least a water view. I also wanted one wedding at a time, so this was really perfect...hmmmm, what else...outdoor cocktail hour with equally nice indoor backup in case of rain....and LOVED that chair covers were included, lol.

We wanted only one wedding at a time...and WSCC actually gives us the entire place for the day...which I love. I also wanted something a little different....I didn't want a location many people had been to multiple times. It's also a Lessing so it has a great reputation. Plus its on the Great South Bay...so the view always helps.

When I walked into FF with my FMIL...we both said WOW...First and last placed we looked...went back with FH and FFIL the next day and booked it. Love the atrium and FF great reputation for attention to detail...love the idea of 1 wedding at a time also...I can't wait...176 days to go...

b/c it was super clean when we went there (and compared to another RH we visited that morning), it was on the water, the food is presented beautifully, food is out of control good, and the hall in itself is beautiful.

I didn't think I would like Chateau Briand. It didn't have anything I was looking for especially on the water. I always wanted my RH on the water. All the places I was looking at was not catching my attention. I didn't get the wow I love this place or I could see my wedding here. As soon as I walked into Chateau Briand I fell in love. I love the Cocktail Hour room. Its probably one of my favorites. I our room and the dance floor. I love the staircase when you first walk in. The list goes on and on.

We needed a place that would accommodate a smaller reception (about 80) We wanted a place that had a nice view that was not far from our church and close to where we and 98% of our guests live.

FH and I chose the NRC b/c we've heard so many great things about it and the fact that only one wedding goes on at a time really drew me in! They were very accomidating and gave us everything that we wanted. And of course the place is gorgeous, FH and I fell in love with it the minute we walked inside.

I actually found FF when I was in College looking to take pics of a park for a website I was working on for Stony Brook's Dept of Recycling and Resource Mgmt. I looked around and said 'This looks awefully manicured for a park...' Then I saw a tent set up outside (this was circa 2002) and I was like HOLY SHIIIIT!!!! PEOPLE GET MARRIED HERE!!!! I told FH about it and I said when we get engaged I want to check this place out....we should get married there its PERFECT!!!

We actually looked around alot....some of you girls probbaly remember I had a really hard time choosing between there and LE but in the end we chose FF and for the time of year I couldn't be happier. I was glad they only do one reception at a time and that they have such attention to detail. I can't hear enough good things about the place, plus I think its just beautiful and really suited our personalities. I Love it....i can't wait!!!!

Growing up, I always wanted my RH to be Russos. However, once we found out that they didnt do outdoor ceremonies and CH we were back to square one.

We picked the Harbor Club because its right on the water which we wanted, its one wedding at a time and everyone there is so incredibly nice. As we were leaving the first time we were there FH said' I closed my eyes and pictured our first dance here...this is it'

We went to look at other halls but we kept coing back to Harbor Club.

Well we had been to one wedding at Russo's and fell in love. When we got engaged we visited a few places but we just kept thinking about Russo's. So we made an appointment and as soon as we walked in we knew it was the place!!!

I wanted someplace that was completely different from any of the weddings I went to. Coindre Hall was the one that fit for the price we needed and the amount of people.

same thing happened to me! i originally wanted mine on the water too..but none of the waterfront places really caught my eye the way the watermill did

I chose leonards because I've always passed by leonard since I was young.. alot in highschool (I went to Great Neck South- which is very close)
When I went to check it out it was very nice and good price. Also it is not far from queens (for my guest)
everything seemed perfect. I told leonards we will be back then we went to The swan Club but it was really hard to find we got lost for 30min then we checked out Foral Terrace but they only had Fridays no saturdays... So I called Leonards immdiately (since the saturday I wanted was the only saturday left for that month) and booked it ^^

FH and I wanted a certain feel to our wedding. My sis told me to visit WM and I didnt want to bec it hosts 2 wedd at a time but after seeing it , that all changed, I dont care anymore. Its a Victorian mansion that has lots of history that dates back to the 1880's, the people, the food, the gardens, the coziness, homey feel , its just different, its just magnificient, and I loved that the rooms are a perfect square so everyone sees everything, also I can have my CH and VH outside
