However, I know some of his friends and would trust them about as far as..... well you know how it goes.

Don't I?????!!!

I have one of his friends telling me that FH's 'stick is going to be purple' after that night...But that I shouldn't worry because the girls are 'clean'...

THAT is just disgusting I love it when the friends start going around and telling everyone (ESP YOU, his FW!) the stupidest little details of what they're going to do to your FH . I swear they get more of a kick out of messing with us than having the actual party for the groom-2-be!

I'm going to have a serious sit-down with his one friend and my FH's brother...
His brother will be of no help, he's like Larry Flynt. Porn king.

What I am going to do??? I need NOT get myself all worked up about this right now...

I would have just stayed quiet. They say these things to rile us up and to see us go nuts and scream. Staying quiet just makes them get madder, and keep doing saying stuff until we blow up. I would stay quiet and eventually they will stop the childishness!

I agree. But I'm no good at staying quiet...

I know they live to torture me...

What does your FH say about the strippers?
I think it's very direspectful for your FBIL to be going against your wishes. I hope your talk goes well.

Re: Spinoff to Violetfairy's thread

I didn't call him (but then again, his BP was in April) but I did decide after reading a thread on this board that a stripper in a hotel room or some other private location was NOT going to be allowed. He could go to all the strip clubs in the world and get as many lap dances as he wanted, but no private strippers... all they need is an extra hundred and its a free-for-all.

Re: Spinoff to Violetfairy's thread

Violetfiary's thread scared me, because my FH also in NOT into the bar scene, drinking, stripper thing but I have already made it known that I will not condone having a stripper at his BP....this makes me paranoid now and I will defintely bring it up with his BM (his brother) now too.

I'm going to go this route. I told him if there are any arrangements made for a private visit from a stripper, then the wedding is off. He's not taking me seriously though....

edited for spelling

Re: Spinoff to Violetfairy's thread

Jonn and I read the thread together....he said for me to not worry...he's not getting a stripper. Luckily, his friends are all married with children...but if he were to get a stripper and some of those things went on I'D KILL HIM!!! I'd have a really hard time forgiving him. But I don't want to sound like a hypocrite either...I know my friends are getting me a male stripper for my bachelorette party. There is no way in H E L L that I would do anything controversial with a stripper! NO WAY! I think the only reason I said yes to the whole thing was for the embarassment factor. I'm going to be laughing my butt off the whole time! But bachelor parties seem to be so different...most men are in it for a little action.
It's disgusting........

please do not worry about this from now.. just make sure that FH is aware that no matter what his friends and brother plans, he better use GOOD JUDGMENT on what he partakes in!!!

you know, i don't NOT trust my FH at all...but really, no matter what...you just never know...and like i said in the other thread...the power of alcohol and opportunity should not be underestimated---not to mention those things coupled with A$$hole friends egging you on!!

This is why we did a joint Bachelor/Bachelorette party in Lake George and everyone had a GREAT time!!

I swear these Bachelor parties never turn out positive in the end ... why not save the aggrivation..
I think the whole thing is more for the GM/Friends involved then for the Groom...

Some men are just pigs ..they love to get the guy who's getting married in big trouble, it's like they thrive on that crap..

i hear ya .. of course you trust your FH, and I trust mine. But I also know that there is no such thing as saying 'IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO MY GUY' because there is always that slight chance that they will take leave of their senses when put in that situation. I highly doubt my FH would do anything like that, but you truly can 'never say never' .....

As I mentioned in Violetfairy's thread, my brother had a VERY explicit, graphic and disgusting bachelor party a few years ago.. I don't know how far it went, but I saw some of the 'tamer' pictures and it was like a bad porno movie. NOONE (esp. me) could believe my brother did some of the things that went on there (my Dad actually walked out) . My brother is one of THE MOST STRAIGHTLACED people I know, doesn't drink, etc..honestly he acts like a choir boy! My SIL didn't talk to him for weeks after that little fiasco , but luckily they had a couple months to get past it. And yes they did get married, and have been blissfully happy the past 8 years.

But it still was totally uncalled for

I think the best way to have a bachelor party is for them to go to one of those big named places like Scores where they pay a fortune for a lap dance and it doesn't get so raunchy.

I agree. That place is like a dream come true for men...Isn't it like a restaurant/sports bar/nudie bar all in one??? I wish they'd let me plan his BP...I would give him a kick-*** (good clean fun) party...
