Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Hello Ladies,I just had to let you know that I went to Judy's wedding on Friday and it was ABSOLUTELY beautiful.
Judy was a lovely bride. I am sure that once she has returned from her honeymoon, she will bless us with her review.
Now, for the details of Fox Hollow:
Man, Fox Hollow is truly amazing; now I am particular person - everything has to been perfect. I am one of those who would notice the finest detail. But, I really don't have anything negative to say about Fox Hollow, other than that they don't pass around the H’ourderves (sp?) enough. Other than that, we have NOTHING to worry about.
The display of the cocktail hour was truly amazing. THere was just tons, and tons of food.
The service was phenomenal - the staff was very nice and courteous.
I am so glad that Fox Hollow was my catering hall of choice.
Just thought I'd share my experience.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Thanks Two Bugs.The one thing I would suggest when selecting your menu is to mention that you would like the trays to be passed around a little more frequently;
Also, find out how long the trays will be passed around before they retire. May be it's for only 10 minutes or is it for the entire duration of the cocktail hour.

I haven't...I wonder if you could request them if that's something you want?

That's the rumor I've heard but I don't think it's something they usually do. That's why I was wondering if anyone has seen it done.

Has anyone ever seen round tables in the Garden Terrace room?
I saw them about 2 months ago when I went to see the in-house florist. I thought the round tables were standard for that room?

You're right! I just realized that after I had posted my response- the winter garden room has round tables. Sorry

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I'd definitely be interested to see how round tables would look in the Garden Terrace room (if they would even do it)

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
For those of you using the Fox Hollow recommended florist (I think you all said Chris was great!) do you know if they would allow me to bring them my own fish bowls (or whatever I decide to use) and they just fill them up or would I have to use their vases/bowls??

It's possible but you should give him a call and ask. I am using him for my wedding and had asked him if I could buy my own votive candles and he could put them on each table versus buying them from perfect wedding planner. He was fine with that. I think though if you are using him for flowers the bowls/vases are incorporated in the price. Then again it doesn't hurt to ask.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I figured that...I still have to go meet with the perfect wedding planners one of these days...I am just going to go and ask how they feel abou doing that...good to know about the votives...I have found some websites where they are fairly inexpensive if anyone is interested!

Has anyone ever seen round tables in the Garden Terrace room?
I go there ALL THE TIME to see the Garden Terrace room and I have never seen round tables in the room. But it is DEFINITELY something you can ask them...you're the customer.
Also, has anyone seen the room since they've redone it. I'm NOT crazy about the new carpet & the ceiling was painted very light, almost white. I'm hoping for the spring/summer they change the window treatments.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
you would have to ask about the round tables. i thought that when we asked the perfect wedding planner florist about it they told us that they do not do round tables in the garden terrace. i'm not positive though.Welcome New Vendors
