Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

It's been too long since I've been back to Fox Hollow. Have to go for a dinner or something to see it again soon.

Anyway...can you ladies refresh my memory - what is it that they provide for the tables at the cocktail hour? I remember it was a choice between two centerpieces if you wanted but I can't remember what they were.

Also, has anyone used the PWP for invitations? If so what was youe experience, what manufacturers do they use? how was the pricing?

TIA!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Ang, you were reading my mind! I was just about to ask about CPs for the cocktail hour. They never told me about this.

Anyone know?

Hey Ladies,

I'm not a Foxhollow bride, however I do know that any and all Scotto brothers reception halls provides only the long oval tables. Hope that helps.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

From what I know, for the cocktail hour, Fox Hollow will provide a candle lamp for each of the tables. The are actually very nice. Outside of that, from the cocktail hour perspective, I am not sure what else they provide.

As for the tables, are you referring to the cocktail hour? For the cocktail hour, all tables are round.

As for the reception, I believe, depending on which room you have, you may have a choice of oblong or round.

I hope that helps. If anyone else would like to add to what i've written, please...

All the best ladies.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Hey all the ladies who are using the in-house florist for the Scotto brothers.... I am going there on March 13th to see a sample of my centerpiece. I'll let you all know how it goes

Also, the directional inserts they give out are actually really nice. They're on cream card stock paper and have directions to the Fox Hollow on one side and directions to the Inn at the Fox Hollow on the other.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Thaks for sharing - I was just about to post a question about the information that Fox Hollow provides. Glad to hear the direction cards are nice. How about the menu cards? Has anyone seen those? How do they look?

As for menus - good question. I would love to know if they provide menus and what they look like.

I don't think that is true. I saw pics of round tables in the winter garden room.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Exactly, so have I. I was at a wedding in 11/03 and I sat at a round table. If any of you are wondering just call your BM.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I went to see my centerpiece sample last week and it was really beautiful. At first, I thought it was a little too small, but we took it down to the Garden Terrace room and put it on the table that was set and it looked great. I didn't get tall centerpieces, so I was concerned.

I had it in a round 'fish' bowl. To add to the long table, we will also do rose petals on the table. The CP was pastel colors, lavender/pinks/blue/yellow. Gorgeous. Unfortunaely, I forgot my camera

But Chris now takes a picture with their digital and prints it for you.

Yes, they do have round tables. Not only in the Winter Garden room, but Fox Hollow has several smaller rooms, for parties of around 60, and they all have round tables, too.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

my save the dates came out great. if i think of it i will try to scan them later and post them. they did a fantastic job, but i think that they only discount 15% for invites so i am going to see if i can get them somewhere for less.

i'm getting makeup done today and i am excited. my fiance took off so we are going to do some other stuff too.

i feel like this has been wedding week. we hadn't done anything in so long. this week we think we figured out flowers...i think my mom found her dress...i went tiara and veil shopping, and today we are going to do some other stuff.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I got so much done today! My fiance was great and took the day off to do it with me. It just makes me feel good.

we blocked some rooms at the best western. i had a makeup trial. unfortunately she was a little more expensive than i expected, but i had my trial at bloomingdales so it was free.

we may have found our invites, but i want to see if there is anything else i like.

i figured out another gift for the girls so now i just need to figureo ut where to get them.

i just wanted to share. thanks for listening!
