Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Thank you ladies. It was extra, I think $200 or $250, I can't remember. My florist did the flowers for free, Fox Hollow charged an extra $100 for that too. You don't get a tasting but I wouldn't worry too much. My cake was really good and I've only heard good things.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Okay, I just came back from Fox Hollow. WE picked out our menu. FH and I agreed on most of the food. As for the WEdding Cake, I am going for stack cakes in ivory with pearls all over and I will have the florist place flowers on the Cake.I asked about the band location situation (Briar Fox room). And I am pretty satisfied with what they told me. The speakers are spread out throughout the room and are not facing any of the tables directly.
Previously, I was at a band showcase and the power went out for a brief moment. I was concerned because I had already booked Fox Hollow. When talking to one of the bands at a different showcase, I mentioned that we are having our wedding at Fox Hollow and he mentioned while playing there the power went out in the Briar Fox room. So the person at Fox Hollow assured me that that would not happen and that they had an electrican who took care of everything.
Another concern I had was stories from this website about things being stolen from the bridal suite, and she assured me that only my bridal attend and I will have a key.
So overall, I had a pleasant experience and they answered all of my concerns and I am very excited and looking forward to our big day!!!

How exciting! What kinds of food selections did you guys make, if you don't mind me asking? I'm still obsessing over the menu LOL

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Yeah! another fox hollow bride!OMG! Am I really the next one after Juju? Time is really flying by!
Juju-what did you pick for the menu? Did you have to pay extra for your cake? I'm so excited for you! Are you ready for the big day?
Where is everyone taking pictures? I am debating whether or not to take them only at Fox Hollow or if we should go to Old Westbury Gardens. I don't have a lot of time (my ceremony is at 11am in bellmore and cocktail hour starts at 1:30) so I'm not sure if it's worth it or not. But OWG is so beautiful and I wouldn't really mind if I missed a little bit of the CH. What do you think I should do?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I'm taking my photos only at the Fox Hollow. I think between the 2 gardens, the gazebo, the swing area, the carriage, the photo room and the lobbby/stairs area, that should be enough. Also, will take a few in the Inn at Fox Hollow...staying there the night before.
Good Luck JuJu...so close now!!!
Cannot wait to hear the review!!!
TASTE THE CAKE!!!

Hi Ladies! I was married at the fox hollow 11/02 and everything was great! so you have nothing to worry about, Fox Hollow does an AMAZING job to make everything perfect! Just wanted to let you know that our cake was delicious! They order them from Erga bakery in Bethpage on Stewart Ave if that helps at all! Our guests loved all the desserts!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Thanks!...I am last on the calendar..I figured that! So, time for me to add my two cents!
BDB-I know that there is a chef (I am sure he is just 1 of many) that works at all of the Scotto places, so you never know...it may be the same baker as well.
This is my new favorite thread!
Good luck all!

We were thinking about going to Old Westbury Gardens but decided that the Fox Hollow has many places to take pictures so we're staying there and doing that instead.
