any body have any other suggestions as far as florists?
I have a booking with La Bloosoms, Jack and Rose and flowers by michele. I have heard great things about Jack and Rose.
I believe La Bloosom is new to the board, but Laurie at La Bloosom sounds very good and sincere. I am scheduled to meet with her tomorrow afternoon. I will let you know how my experience turns out.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I booked with them, so did SteffieSunshine...So far I'm very happy with my experience with them...Chris, the floral director, is very nice and helpful with ideas...
Their prices were competitive, and if you're having your ceremony at the hall as well, it's a good idea because they're on the premises for the whole day, god forbid something should go wrong.......they don't deliver off site though, something to keep in mind if you're getting married elsewhere....

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I booked with the In house florist at the FH as well. Chris was very helpful in the sense he gave me some ideas as to how I would want the flowers to come out. I agree with BDB that the prices are pretty competitive.

Ang & Rich,I don't know if you want to wait, but when I see my samples at the end of Jan/first week of Feb, I'll let everyone know how it went.
But I'm sure it will be beautiful, he had really great ideas, and for what I got, I think I got a great price because I was expecting to spend about $1500 more. We were both pleasantly surprised to the estimate.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
This thread has me posting on BHB again. Ericia asked me about the cake. It was very good, I think people liked it. I personally hate wedding cake so that's a big endorsement. It was a marble cake with raspberry filling. I just cared that it looked pretty. Here's a pic. John at Flower Michele decorated it for me. I loved it and all my flowers.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
That kinda sucks. Oh well.....I guess I'm going to have to remember to ask my FSILs about it....they've both been to numerous weddings at Fox Hollow, and one of them got married at Chateau Briand (I know they probably don't have the same baker, but just to get an idea of the kind of cakes the Scotto Bros. produce)

Tammy,Thank you for posting your cake; it is absolutely lovely. Did you have to pay extra or was it part of the package?
I really do love your cake.
