Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I didn't have a pasta course or a intermezzo but I did have viennese trays on the tables. Its all way too much food. You can add it if you like but its not necessary. Hardly anyone ate dessert, the guests were too stuffed. And my family can eat, believe me.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Speaking of Viennese hour (or half hour), Tammy, did you have to pay for the Viennese desert trays? If so, how much did Fox charge you? I was thinking of having it, considering everyone know's that I loooove deserts, it would be nice to have besides the bridal cake.I always say, variety is best.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I was thinking of doing the viennese (have I mentioned I'm a complete dessertaholic??), but Tammy's post confirmed what I had suspected - that it's already too much food for everyone. But Ericia, you can always have them pack it up for you to take home!!
Also, BDB - FM.

Not a bad idea. It's just that some people may not like the bridal cake. So if they have choices, it would be nice to have.

I agree...I would KILL to be a guest at a wedding with a viennese hour.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
They threw it in when I booked-one of those add-ons to convince me. I don't know how much it costs otherwise. Most of the people who had an intermezzo or pasta course got it the same way. Those are not standard things. They did pack up the desserts. We brought some to the Inn with us but my mom had most of it. Apparently my family was eating dessert for days while I was on the honeymoon. They also ate the top layer of my cake, they didn't know they were supposed to save it for me. I told you they could eat

TwoBugs - right back at ya with the FM
I am having the mini vienesse, which I guess is just the trays they bring to the table. I know there's already a ridiculous amount of food, but I like to push things to the limit. Plus, who'd ever complain about too much dessert?
My only wish is that I get a chance to eat!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
RE: Viennese HourI think the price quoted was an extra 10 pp. I'm getting married on Sunday afternoon, so I can't have it because there is a wedding after mine, but we were also going to quote the mini, trays at the table.
Anyone hear any remarks about the included wedding cakes? Any wedding I've been to with the cake thrown it always has it tasting like a yodel!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
For those having a live band and are in the Briar Fox room, Do you have concerns about the band's location? I don't like the idea that they are behind the tables which is right on top of the guest. I'm going to ask about that. When I was visiting FH during a wedding, the band was on the Dance floor. Which I probably would prefer; however, at the same time, it takes up the space for dancing.Any thoughts?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Good Morning fellow Fox Hollow Brides
In regard to the food - we are having a pasta course and mini vienniese (sp?). Both were thrown in for us when we signed.
In regard to JuJu's post about the band location - we are having a DJ but I worry about the same thing - dont want the DJ on top of one table but is setting up on the floor a better alternative? The room isnt that big to begin with and I worry about taking away from dance space..
Any suggestions?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Is there anyone having their reception in the Winter Garden Room? Do you think the dance floor is rather small? My fiance and I are going back and forth as to the size of the dance floor.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
My reception is in the Winter Garden Room, and I also have worried that the dance floor might be too small.....but I also think I might not be remembering how it looks. I'm only having around 120 guests, so I'm hoping it'll be big enough...Welcome New Vendors
