Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Oh good, I'm glad they don't provide menus - I was actually looking forward to designing and making them myself. The crepe station sounds yummy - I think it would be a hit with your guests!
Juju, did you have the crepes?

I, too, would prefer to design my own - but it would be nice to see what FH puts out.

I plan on most likely creating my own menus and place cards (not too happy with the place cards FH gave us)…
What do the place cards look like? I assume they say Fox Hollow on them or have a pic of the fox... Just wondering. I was thinking of doing clear labels and putting them on FH's place cards.

Stacy told me $2 pp, but I got an 'anonymous' email that told me that they were able to upgrade for FREE!!!! and I shouldn't let them talk me into paying for the upgrade!
And, I did have Stacy send me the new menu...but I deleted it. It wasn't that great...I would rather be able to pick my own beef, poultry and fish dish rather than take their preset menu.

Hmmm... that sounds like a good idea. How is everyone making their menu cards??? I guess I will have to create my own.

I, too, am interested in creating m own menu cards.I guess we need to figure out the size of the paper we would like use. Trust me, I am totally clueless on this part. A lot of brainstorming, I'd say.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
we picked our menu last week and chose the same entrees as boogiedown. except, we asked to get the filet mignon au poivre instead of with one of the other choices of sauces. i love au poivre, but i didn't want to get the medallions. we're getting the coupe al chocolat for dessert. it sounds so yummy. i was also really happy with the cake i picked out. it was the last one in the book. 5 square stacked layers with little round beads of icing. i was happy with the old menu choices and didn't feel the need to upgrade. i think 3 choices is plenty. we're doing our own menu cards. i haven't decided if i will do one per plate or do 2 per table and put them in frames. i think i am also going to do my own placecards. i don't want to have to write them all out and i want to print them out in the font that matches my invitations, programs, and menus. i think i saved a pic of the placecards i saw on a photographers website. here it is:

I got this letter too, and since I'm in St. Louis, I was wondering if it's something I absolutely have to do? I would hate to fly all the way up to NY only to find out they just want to 'check in'...
