I wonder where that room is? I walked through and didn't notice any other reception room. Unless it is the room in the back where they usually hold the wedding planning seminars.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I think it is the room that is directly down the hall from the bottom of the stairs that go up to the Perfect Wedding Planner...Juju had her ceremony in there. I've seen it set up with about 10 tables for a party. I guess they can do small weddings in there.

And YES, my original finals appt was early, because Stacy said they get very busy around this time of the year, so the earlier the better. But after she cancelled, we rescheduled for Monday night, 4/5 at 8pm.

Yep, I had my ceremony in that room. I didn't realize that FoxHollow could possibly have 3 functions at one time. FoxHollow may only do 2 at one time. YOu should find out.

hmmm......maybe I should be calling them soon. The finals is pretty much picking the menu, linen, cake, etc? When do we have to give them our final count?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I was hoping at least not until 2 weeks in advance...1 week is even better, if that's it.

I just had ants in my pants to get the cake upgrade quote, because I wasn't crazy about the pictures of the included cakes they show on the Watermill.com website. That was where she told me to look to pick one before coming to her.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I didn't want anything too fancy...but those are not nice at all!!!

I want something like one of these, but I don't think it's a set price for upgrade. Stacy said they will take a photo & 'submit' it to their baker for a price.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Now those cakes are pretty!!!! That is somewhat similar to what I was thinking but I wanted square shaped tiers vs. round. Let me know how much more they charge you for something like that.

Well i think they do because my friend said that the only reason they got their date (in Aug) is becuase someone cancelled. Otherwise it is booked. And i am sure that the main rooms all have events going on during the summer..

Is that room usually available for ceremonies? I wish they had told me it was an option, because weather permitting I want to have it outside, but if it's indoors I think I would have liked to have it in the room where juju had hers...

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I'm next!
When I picked my menu there were a few other cakes to choose from that are included. I picked a 5 layer square shaped stacked cake. It has little round beads of icing scattered on each layer and little beads of icing all along the bottom of each layer. Stacy photocopied the picture out of the album. Let me see if I can scan it. It's not such a great copy and the pic is of the cake withuot any decorations so I can show my florist. Hold on, let me get the picture.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Hi girls!
WELL - I haven't been here in quite some time, and now my wedding is only 4 DAYS AWA!!! I'm also getting married at the Fox Hollow, and a fello LI Knottie was nice enought to tell me there was a thread here for the FH brides!

I'm so excited! Craig and I dropped off all of our reception things last night and we walked around the Winter Garden Pavillion one last time before Sunday - so pretty! :) All I have to do now is pick up my dress tomorrow and then it's the start of my wedding weekend! :) I absolutely LOVE the fox Hollow - they have just been wonderful with every single detail of our special day, and I couldn't be happier that we will be married there on Sunday! :)
