Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

went to the tea party last night and was hoping I would get to see the new chairs in the WGP, but there was a freaking Sweet 16 going on. I told them I would blend in, seeing that I look like I am still 16, but they wouldnt let me in.

But for all of you June brides, the grounds look gorgeous!!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

SO I asked my brother about the whole Maire'd tipping issue. He worked as a bus boy, waiter, and eventually Maitre'd at Bridgeview Yacht Club and he said he RARELY if EVER got that much money ($3-$5 per head). he usually got betweem $1oo-$200 dollars per wedding. And I know my brother...he can sweet talk anybody, anywhere so I'm sure he was a great Maitre'd. He said that between $100-150 should be good for a wedding of my size. I hope htis helps!

That sounds more reasonable, but how many people are you having at your wedding?
I am sure it must be around the same size as mine if its in WGP

We were in the WGP, had 137 guests, and I tipped our MD (Angel) $450.

I am pretty sure they have a salary. I don't think they work for just tips.

Hi girls,

Well my last deposit payment was paid today!!! Yay!! Here are the pics of the new chairs. This one chair has a stain on it already but they had chair covers over them for this wedding's cocktail hour today.

HTH.

I really didn't like them that much and FH wasn't to crazy about them. We are going to see if we can fit in our budget the chair covers when it gets more towards the wedding.

How bout you, what was your opinion?

I haven't seen them in person but honestly from the picture I have to say I think I'm disappointed mainly because I loved the look of the other chairs (I know they were beat to hell) and I thought they would replace them with something similiar.

I think I might have look into chair covers myself too. . .

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

They're nicer than the chairs in the garden terrace. I hope they put new chairs in the garden terrace too! The ones in there are straight from a corporate convention center circa 1987!

They gave me a sample one. You can call and ask I am sure they will mail you one if you want. I am going to use them. One less thing I have to worry about.
