Yeah!! I'm so glad we have a thread!!
My FH and I have been to a few weddings there, all in the winter and it was beautiful! I've never been to a summer wedding there (which is when I am getting married) but I did see the grounds last year when I booked! Yeah! Only 5 months!!!! Still so much to do!!
I agree, I've never heard a bad thing about East Wind!!

I went to the bridal showcase in November,....THAT YOU WERE SPOSED TO BE AT Ms. Crystal! Be prepared to EAT EAT EAT!!!! OMG, food was soo much and sooo delish!

AFter you meet your minimum, your vendors are half price....
as for children, same thing, but I was told its a limit of 3 kids...but ehy are compromising becuase I have 4...LOL

we are having our 2 nieces and nephews....kinda no choice, they are making the tirp form NJ and their parents are in it! But I love them to death!

I think that East Wind bakes it's own wedding cakes.. If I find a wedding cake that I like do you think that they can make it?
My friend who got married there this past Dec. said it is a lot extra for fondant. Have you guys thought about your cakes yet?

As far as I remember they do not bake their own cakes. They show you pictures to choose from. They will also show you pictures of others that you can choose but they will cost you more. Then they customize them to your colors.
