So with all the post about dieting and working out and beating up ourselves for that one special day, I figured it would be a good idea for us to encourage each other so we stay sane!
So, what diet are you doing, hows it going and what sort of workouts do you do?
I currently stick to a low sugar, high protien, no gluten/dairy diet and workout 5 days a week. I also bought the 30 day shred.

Re: The official Encouragement thread lol
thanks, sandra. we can do it! whoohoo 2010-ers!!
right now i am on a diet that doesnt allow carbs after noon, no fried food, no cheese, no shellfish and no beer.
i havent weighed myself since i started 3 weeks ago. i think its a good diet and probably good for cholesterol too (FH and I have high cholesterol ). He shoudl be taking a blood test in about a month, so we'll find out if it works on that.
i was feeling good...but last week my stomach was hurting so i gave up coffee. its been 9 days w/out coffee and im feeling tired. lol. but i also think im fighting a cold.
next time i get on a scale (eek!) ill let you know how its working

I go to Lucille Roberts and I love it and the classes are great, the equipment is not bad but the hours are sometimes not very good for me. Thats why I got that DVD, so theres nomore excuses. My butt needs to be in tiptop shape by May/June for my e-shoot.
BTW, I just ate a gluten free cookie and I want to throw up. Yummy nothing like cardboard.

Unfortunately, I am absolutely incapable of dieting. I just have no will power. I try to run outside (when it's warm enough!), and I got the Jillian Michaels game for the Wii fit. It's similar to the shred, but it tells me my progress and weighs me, so no cheating! I have lost about 7 pounds since I started (January). Not bad for someone who can't diet!

Ditto I love NYSC! I try to run in the morning before work at least 4 times a week but that means a 4:30am wake-up call :(

My ultimate goal is to look like Jillian Michaels. If I had abs like that I would be so happy...
Right now I'm doing no white flour and no sugar. Right now I'm doing the yoga booty ballet dvd but I plan on getting the 30 day shred...

I don't 'diet.' Weight Watchers taught me how to lose weight and maintain weight loss without 'dieting.' But I do Weight Watchers and have been doing it for almost 3 years now. I even work for them.
As for the gym, I used to go to Synergy in Franklin Square, then I moved. I have to get my butt over to the one in Farmingdale sooner or later.

Re: The official Encouragement thread lol
i'm doing WW, although at first i lost some weight, it seems to have hit a plateau so i was considering switching to the curves diet which i did 2 years ago and worked great.
I go to Gold's Gym in Garden City Park 3 times a week, but I need to go more.
