I'm getting married outside at WCC, does anyone know if there are any rules or restrictions about if we can have our guests throw petals, rice, whatever after the ceremony?

Just did my menu last night. It was great! We walked out of there so excited.
And the chocolate fountain is included with the Vienesse which we didn't even realized so we're even more excited.

We went with the shell steak, california grilled chicken and the herb crusted salmon. Were you there to do your menu? Who's your BM, by the way? We have Bob. Love him!

Actually we were looking at it for the first time..I was impressed with the amt of food and also that the chef is formerly from Russos on the Bay (3 weddings there, all phenomenal),,I was thinking of a place a little more cozy, this is more of a catering hall but my fiance really wants to book there...The grounds are fantastic..
Are you having the ceremony there??

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I know. Time is flying. I feel like I have so much to do still though, and I'm dreading that seating chart. It's going to be hell!!I'm not having the ceremony there, no, but both ceremony areas are really nice. I was considering it at first but decided to go with the church in the end.

I know I don't post a lot but I had my wedding a WCC on June 24th. The place is simply amazing. Our guests are still complimenting on the food, grounds (we had to move the cocktail hour inside due to rain but Viennese was outside) and the staff! Michael worked with us every step of the way and went out of his way to make sure things were set up perfectly for us. You don't have a thing to worry about WCC. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.By the way - if you do get Sara for your attendent - she is wonderful!!! We loved her!

Glad to hear such good things about WCC, especially since you just had your wedding last month. (Congratulations!)
I had my menu selection a few weeks ago, and to tell you the truth I felt a bit uneasy when I left. I know things will be fine...but I had wished I was more excited after I left as shellyru was. Though my FH and I will be going back to iron out some final details.

Why were you uneasy? Was it the food or something else??

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
First I had to go alone, so that might have put me in on the wrong foot. The food seems to be great, definitly plenty. They were also able to accomodate my appetizer and then pasta course. That stuff was easy. There were some set up issues that my FH and will have to go over with the BM again. It wasn't really based on my traditions more my FH, so I couldn't really explain it well. Hopefully the second meeting will leave me more excited.

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I hear ya. I have a few things to iron out too. I wasn't thrilled with the beer that's offered but I'm debating whether it's worth an additional $3 a person just for Mich Ultra or whatever. I thought of a few other questions after I left too that I have to go over.Get excited though. I'm sure they'll help you figure everything out and your day will be fabulous. Yippee!!
