we have issues.... please help (honeymoon)

ok so this is like the 3rd honeymoon thread ive made bc we just su ck at this lol

i had my heart set on tahiti but fh changed his mind and i swear i feel like august is the worst honeymoon time...theres like no cruises at that time, its hurricane season in some places, rainy season in others arghhhhhh

anyways anyone have any suggestions for me? i need some new things to look up lol

i really dont want to go to an island in the caribbean bc i want to do something a little different...something beachy, with adventure, but somewhere i wouldnt normally go (i just feel like i can go to the caribbean some other time)

i really dont want to go to europe bc i really dont want to walk around the entire time, i rather a place that has beach/ water excusions...tho i saw a cruise that went to greece, italy, but also to egypt - which i thought looked cool but not in august

fh suggested somewhere like cabo, mexico but i dont really know anything about it and again i feel like its just a regular island and i wanted something a little different...i wanted more like costa rica (which has the rain forest and beach things) but its rainy season in august

if u can give me suggestions id really appreciate it!!! thanks!!!! (oh we are looking to spend like 5-6,000)

I agree, Hawaii has it all... adventure, beautiful beaches and you can relax on the days you don't want to be adventurous.

fh is so difficult!!!! he doesnt really want to go there for the pure fact that he has 2 really good friends going there on their honeymoons before us

Exactly!! And you can do Hawaii much cheaper if you book everything yourself!! We save about $2000 by doing this!!

how long are you looking to go for?
I know you said you didn't want to do Caribbean, but my friend got married on 8/8/03 and went to Aruba and said the weather was perfect, and they have a lot of adventure stuff to do there. HTH!

What about Australia? They have beaches there and it's different. Not sure how much it is, but my boss when there on his and loved it.

I don't think you would be able to do Hawaii on the budget you have especially consdering it isn't all inclusive and it is expensive there. We were going to go there but then chose Riveria Maya in Mexico at the Excellence Resort. We wanted something more relaxing, all inclusive, and luxurious!

i really wanted to go there but its rainy season in august...im not sure how bad it is but i dont know if i want to take the chance of it raining the whole time

Jenise my FH was the same way about Hawaii because every single one of our friends has been there for their honeymoon but I finally convinced him otherwise.

It can be done on your budget too -- you just have to be a little savy. I have an agent who might be able to help you. FM me if you want more info.
