Wedding shoes
Where is everyone getting their shoes and how much do you think you will spend on them? I am not sure where to look other than online.

Re: Wedding shoes
I have no idea... I want the lowest heel possible (maybe even a flat) because FH and I are about the same height and I don't want him to look like he's my son on our wedding day...I think it's crazy spending over $150 on wedding day shoes.. but then thats me...

Re: Wedding shoes
3-4 in shoes definately! I wear heals all the time and they are the most comfortable to me. And my FH is at least 9 in taller than I am (I am barely 5 feet) so I do not have to worry about his height. The practical side of me is saying not to spend a lot on shoes for the wedding, but the shoe snob in me is saying to go big on this one! Maybe one of my friends will wear them for their wedding and it can be their something borrowed!

Re: Wedding shoes
I'm short, everyone knows I am short...so I won't bother hiding it. LOL.
I am striving for comfort and style...hopefully in the same show....don't plan on spending too much on them...but it could be love at first sight...

Re: Wedding shoes
I will definitely be wearing at least a 3' heel. I'm just barely 5 feet, and FH is 5'6', so I've got plenty of room to spare.I've already told FH and my mom about the manolos......FH is actually encouraging me to get them! My mom said they will have to come out of my gown budget
I'm kind of a shoe snob too though.....soooooooooooo......I'm sure I'll be spending a pretty penny on my shoes. And it's the one time in my life I'd ever get away with it too (especially with FH)
ETA: I'm also thinking if I do get the Manolos to get them in silver so I can wear them again.

I was thinking about doing the same thing!!! -- Maybe even gold depending on the shade of white I go with.

Re: Wedding shoes
FH and I are roughly the same height. He's a little bit taller than me, so anything more than a kitten heel is out of the question.I may splurge on a funky pair of Betsey Johnson kitten heels/flats if I see anything I like.
Knowing me, I'll have a pair of Converse in my bridal suite because I am such a creature of comfort.
ETA: Price. If I go for the Betseys, I'm going to be paying more than I'd like to, but I'd get a lot of use out of them. (Probably around $150-$200). More than likely I won't find anything suitable from her line and will look to spend around $50 - $100.

Re: Wedding shoes
I am really thinking of having colored ones that match my bouquet. I think it will make good for pics and I can wear again. On the other hand, due to the detials on my dress and other things, I keep going back and forth with classic. But I am not spending a lot. It's the one area I am not. I want 3 inch minimum!!!!!
