Is anyone interested in doing a a topic/discussion/blog of weight and support? I'm trying to lose weight in time for my wedding, but I feel like if I had other people doing it and watching each other it would be easier.
I hope that makes sense!
So if anyone is interested, I'll start. I'm trying to lose 20lbs by June/July - in time for my first fittings.

Re: Weight Buddies?
I totally recommend WW. For me, its the only one that really works. I lost a lot of weight over the years on WW and struggle to keep it off. For me the key is seeing results and staying motivated. I have a picture in my head of how I want to look in my dress, and keep that image in my head every time I go to eat something.

Re: Weight Buddies?
Exactly - i have the same problem, I'm five feet one (the one depends which height chart I'm using ) so the extra weight makes me look a lot heavier than I should. I want to go back to a size 2-4, right now I'm a size 6.
I'll definitely check out WW and the website. Thanks!

Re: Weight Buddies?
don't feel like a fatty, I def want to lose at least 20- Fh doesn't really want me too (he likes my curves) but I think I'll always be curvy, no matter what size I am. I'm down for the discussion board.
Let's motivate eachother. I've been doing pretty good this week!

Re: Weight Buddies?
Here's a trick that used to motivate me when I was losing. I'd make myself accountable to someone. Every night, I'd have to tell this person what I ate that day. For me, it was easier to just NOT eat the chocolate chip cookie than to try to explain to them WHY I ate the chocolate chip cookie (I'm not a very good liar)
Maybe we could use this thread for something like that? Every night, we'd have to post how we did on our diet that day and if we go off, explain to everyone why we went off.
Just an idea.

that sounds like a great menu!
FH and i went out for dinner and i lucked across a menu that had a grilled chicken breast w/ brown rice and steamed broccoli as sides. i was so excited to be out to eat and still stick to the diet!!!
p.s. my bridal shop told me not to drop more than 15 lbs too !! that must be the magic number
