Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

My girlfriend went recently to Westbury Manor and they were charging her less per person for a Friday night in July 2005 than us. We didn't even try to negotiate because we assumed wedding places don't. Do you think we should go back and say, you are offering our friend a better deal?

Also, we are getting stressed about the meals for vendors. Does anyone know if they offer a good deal or something?

I believe the price for vendors is $45 don't quote me but I think that is the price. Either way they are definitely cheaper

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I don't know if you have seen my post from earlier today but the calligrapher that WBM suggested stinks. She gives me no confidence in her ability. She sent me a list to proof that was full of spelling errors and was missing half my people. Worst part is I sent her my envelopes in the mail. I have to go get them now. There is no way I am trusting her to do my invitations!!!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

That stinks that happened to you. I haven't used anyone Westbury suggested yet. Have you used anyone else off their list?

You should mention your experience to them.

I think you should try negotiating with them. You never know what they are willing to do. I think vendor meals are $35, but I will find out for sure when I drop my stuff off tomorrow.

(i'm looking to use one of their hair vendors... but i didn't like any of their other vendors, and we saw most of them)

I am picking up my envelopes tonight. Can't wait till they in my hand again.

The only other WBM vendor we are using is Cassarino Studios for photography.
