Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
We did our finals last night, we chose our menu and our cake (FI liked the most expenseive one) so surprised. Kelly was soo nice and helpfull, she showed us the new menu option and we decided ntot ot go with hit, were already spending way too much. But all in all it was gret being there they were cleaning like mad last night everythign sparkled. It was weird seeing the rooms without chairs and tables, I must say we finally went into the manor roomt o take a peek and oh man what a difference it is hugh, I so wish it was available for us, Im really nervouse that the garden roomw ill be tooo cramped for us.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
you have a choice of cakes, some are included some are extra, the one we chose was extra becuase of fondant (sp) and we choose for WBM to do the flowers on it rather than our florist

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
which had the fondant? we weren't told anything about fondant.(maybe it doesn't apply, we're getting the square one with the 'pearls' on it)
my florist is putting flowers on it. I thought $175 (or $125 or whatever) was a bit crazy for a handful of flowers!

We did get this same one, this cake is extra cost and then the flowers are an extra ontop of that at least that is what I understood

we have whipped cream icing, but there was no extra charge (at least she didn't tell us there was) Maybe its just extra because of the fondant.and the flowers were def. extra!

Has anyone used the EXECUTIVE ROOM!!!???
I am really really concerned about the executive room, we are to use the executive room as an alterative if it rains on the wedding day for the CH. After looking at this room again it just seems much too small for all of our CH food and 130 people. Much too cramped. WBM tells me it will be fine but I do not visualize it being so. With all the food we are getting at the CH plus our additions it just doesn't seem like it will work out.
Has anyone been to an affair in this room with 130 people?![]()
B2B,
i compleelty agree, its bad enough that I feel the garden room is too small but I went in last night and saw the executive and have no idea where the hell 150 people would fit, its stressing me out, man I think my only wish for that day is for it to be not raining, the grounds are the whole reason why we booked WBM overlookign the size restraints.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
Oh so you have the executive room too? I am freaking out so bad I have developed tummy problems. This room is totally stressing me out. There is no way all those people wil fit in there. I am surprised WBM would use the Executive room for such a big group. Worst part is we put so much extra into the CH. If it isn't outside I feel like the CH will be a waste.I am hoping and praying it will be a beautiful day and we can be outside!!!!
My FI and Mom keep saying that WBM has a reputation to uphold and that they wouldn't set it up this way if it weren't possible. Well sue me I don't see it being a comfortable situation.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
B2B, I could not agree with you more. I fell as though when we looked at the hall we booked because of the grounds and the fact that no matter what we would not need the executive room, it all did not seem small them to me maybe because i automatically thought the day would be beautiful,b ut now the thought of a rainy day scares the crap out of me. We added the seafood boat also and where the hell would they put it in that room. then there defiantly would be no room. I guess well both have to pray and play it by year...

Agrech those weren't my favors, I was there early in the day and met with someone different. This guy was the 'closer' so you meet with 3 different people before you get married. Is the executive room the one upstairs with the balcony?

AGECH- Kelly told me that the Seafood Boat will go next to the bar. My thinking is oh yeah great put the two most popular things next to each other. What a traffic jam. My Dad was funny last night he said when people are hungry enough they get the food. Don't worry
Moehick- Yes the executive room is the one with the small balcony. Jeeze I am excited for you
