I know! What do you think? Should I do 12 to a table? I was at a wedding once that had 14 and I thought that was a little too crowded?

I'm doing 12 at a table...I'm trying sooooo hard not to do 14. What I really need is 3 more tables so I can do 10 at a table but that's not going to happen.Babybride your wedding is huge!
Did you girls get all your responses back yet? I'm still waiting on a few...and one schmuck who can't decide if he's going to bring his girlfriend or not.

I have three people I am waiting on and one person who answered 'and guest' so I wrote her to see if I could get the guest's name for the placecards and she said she doesn't know who she is bringing yet! She better bring someone - I am paying!!

babybride -- I think tables of 12 will be good -- but I know how you feel about being overcrowded. My parents went to a wedding at the fox hollow a few months ago and they had 16 to a table! IT was nuts -- nobody could get up to go to the bathroom! How many people are you having? We are going through a whole big saga right now with the guest list -- its reached 399!!!
I'm so mad!!!

399!! WOw. I don't think I even know that many people. We both have verysvmall families and the majority of people attending our wedding are friends.

With the place cards. Do I give a list to Westbury manor and they do it or do I have to get them done myself??

Too be honest, I don't think I even know half of them
I put my foot down last night and told them that they have to narrow it down -- even if 15% say no, that's still to many people!

I think twelve should be fine. 14 would be excessive. I will probably be having tables of 10 and 12. I think we are going to have 115 people. Most of my family is out of state and can't/won't make the trip as well as FH's family is out of country and really can't make it. If he had as many friends guests coming from his side as I do, we would be a lot larger, but this should be a nice number
Wow, I still can't believe 24 tables. That seems huge!

Thanks guys for all your help with the tables. I was off Friday for a friend's wedding and just saw this now.Butterfly - are the 399 all US?
We were at 383 when we sent the invites out, but that included a good deal of overseas relatives that weren't coming. Right now were are looking at around 240 people attending. We only had about 14 no's from the 'true' list of people - excluding the overseas ones we knew were no's.

If we were interested in having a chocolate fountain would the manor be able to make those arrangements for us or would we have to go to an outside vendor? I heard that the other places(Scotto Brother sites) will help you get this through them.Welcome New Vendors
