well tomorrow is my b-day so i told fh i'd rather go out saturday night and do a big dinner then rather than going home after work rushing to get ready and rushing to dinner and dealing with the v-day madness. So he made plans for saturday night for us and tomorrow going to do a little something too.
Anyways i asked FH last night what he wants to do for v-day, just relax home watching movies and fh said 'i'll cook for you' he has NEVER cooked, well twice he grilled something on the bbq which doesnt take much hahahaha...oh yeah and one time he made us grilled cheese sandwiches in the toaster oven, but other than that he doesnt know how. I loved the idea when he told me, and i can see his face after like OMG what did i get myself into...but he said hes going to try his best. I dont care how it comes out, i just LOOOOOVE that he will even do this. I got so happy and excited but i cant wait to see what he'll make and how it'll come out even if its burned ill eat it hahaha

It's only 10:40 and all this talk about the restaurant and i'm craving pretty much everything on the menu. We should print this up for Rocco to show him all the free press we're giving him... maybe we'll get a hazelnut dessert out of it.

i agree, theres alot of places i like but to LOVE and really stand out is different. This place is great

FH is home sick with an upper respiratory infection and I have class tonight, so we're not doing anything. We originally wanted to go out tomorrow night since I have class but when I tried making reservations at the melting pot over 3 weeks ago they didn't have anything until Sunday night. So we're going Sunday night for our v-day dinner lol

I want to say it was something like $40pp or $45 about a year ago. I could be pulling that out my butt though. They did have several menu selections though at different price ranges. They give you the small back room which is long and narrow... i wasn't nuts about it for a shower... all the gifts stay outside and then you would have to carry them in as you're opening them... and the seating wouldn't work so well because old ladies would probably be complaining that they can't see. Other than that though... I still LOVE this place.

thats how my dad is too, its so funny...i remember being on a plane and somebody asked me if i was 'mario's daughter' i said yeah and they said OH you look just like him. Then 2 other people overheard on the plane and were like OMG i know your dad too, it was so weird lol. Even when i met FH, his friend was like 'yeah i know denise's dad' And like i said above my dad knows rocco the owner of L'incontro, he actually was just talking about him the other day bc a good family friend owns a wine company and rocco tasted his wine and wanted it for his restaurant and that guy is coming here soon so my dad wants to set something up.

yeah for a shower i cant picture it plus that room is now a wine bar so who knows about the setup...to go out to eat at its perfect though lol

hmm that's not terrible but i agree i couldn't picture it as far as the layout plus astoria is only convenient for me and city people so I told my sister not to bother. I did think it would be pricier than that though, so good to know.
