What is the average size ring?

I would like to have my ring reset..

Anyone have any suggestions or could recommend anyone to do it..

i have a great jeweler, he is located in Manhattan. depends on where you are willing to travel to.
the diamond reset?
if so be very careful of who you pick to do this!!!

I live in Queens and work in the city .. So its not a big deal.. I want to change the whole ring .. Even the center stone..

I don't like it anymore and he is FINE with it..

I know you have to go to someone you trust!!!

my jeweler is located on Bowery near Canal.
If you want his info, i will forum mail it to you.
he just reset my stepmom's 4 carat diamond last year & did an awesome job!! new setting and it is in there securely, not going anywhere, and he never lets the diamond out of your sight and thats majorly important!
my friend had her ring reset a few months back by some other jeweler and her stone in now gone! it fell out!

My parents are SO SO SO involved with church they even are getting the CHIOR to sing for me..

What do you mean by 'average size ring'? Do you mean carat weight or band size?

And why do you hate your ring? Did your FH pick out for you? Did you guys pick it out together and you decided you're not happy with it? Just curious!

And please do not tell me your 4ct is too big!!! LOL!!! My girlfriend has an 8 ct and I'm hoping to upgrade to that in 5 years.

OMG 8kts.. Wow.. She must have a RICH Hunnie...

I love the size just not the stone..He got in on impulse and I said yes But its not my taste and I am not happy wearing it for the rest of my life..

I know its shallow but hey atleast I am honest..

We will change it soon!!

I don't think it's shallow. My FH kept asking me if I wanted to change my setting after he proposed. He wanted to make sure that the ring was what I wanted. I don't know why he kept asking since he got me what I asked for, which was a round solitaire.

I couldn't imagine 8k.....I think that is bigger than my size 4 ring finger! I think my 1.5 looks too huge sometimes!!!

R&T - I am getting married in Our Lady oF Grace - Old Howard. My mom goes there on Sundays...this is bad but I haven't stepped foot in the church!

Theresa, I am from Howard Beach too! I am 26, maybe we know each other...Where did you go to school?? I love Russos, I am sure your wedding will be beautiful. My mom is still broken up that I am not getting married at St Helens, since I was a member of the church since I was a baby. But we decided to get married near our apt.
