what is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to the wedding?

i agree... i hate when people say 'you have plenty of time...' or 'why are going this so earrrrrly '....'don't worry everything will be fine' !

I also hate when people that are already married say to you (without you asking). 'you have to use MY florist, photographer etc..) '

when random guys online im me asking are you still getting married? no we just got engaged, started planning to call it all off in a matter of months! it's not like he asked me out and I said maybe, this is marriage!

or more random idiots who im me saying you get married yet? after I told them 1000x april 18th 2008! I mean come on I have the date posted everywhere from profile to myspace.

or people asking about where are the invitations (um it's only July!)

and worst is if fh's family is coming (he doesn't speak to them anymore) I hate that question. obviously if they don't speak probably not!!!!

oh yeah & flakey people who go oh hopefully I can get off. like it's so hard to take a Friday off for a wedding. please.

then worst of all the rude people who ask what everything is costing. what do they care? it's not like they are getting married or even engaged.

I hate that so much when people say oh you have plenty of time. why wait till the last min? I rather get it all out of the way then relax.

another thing I also hate when bridesmaids try to take over. mine are the worst. my one bm argued with me for an hour over what flowers I picked.

I don't want 10 different flowers in the cps! and not 6 diff flowers in the bo ks! then she proceeded to tell me how my flowers will look dumb with only 4 different kind! it's not like they will put only one of each. but whatever.

she won't be coming when I see my sample centerpiece that's for sure. my day my way!

my mother, by far and away.

her moods change like the wind, she interrupts every word that comes out of my mouth, she hangs up on me when she feels like it. i'm literally at the end of my rope.

Ugh, yes. Ditto that. We're pretty close too, but I just can't seem to do or say anything without 'hurting her feelings' since the whole wedding planning began.

...i LOVE kids...i just don't want them at our wedding b/c once you let one person bring their kids you have to let EVERYONE...and that would add like 25 people to our guestlist...we just don't have the room!!!

HAHAH date twin the same thing

At first it was that we were doing everything so early. We booked our venue in Nov. '06 for our June '08 wedding. One place was already booked yet people were like you have so much time.....

Now it's 10 months away and we are just about where we should be as far as wedding timelines

The 'Kid' thing is really not an issue. We decided that we would invite my 1st cousins 12 & up and the one child on FH's side. Altho my Aunts & uncles were already vocal that they prefer not to take their kids. We're hearing it's a black-tie night wedding I want to enjoy myself a wedding is a night out w/o the kids.

I hate that, too. I usually hear, 'Why JANUARY?!? Oh, good luck with that.'

Also, I'm older and I hear a lot, 'If I could do it over, I wouldn't spend the money on...blah, blah, blah...I would just have it in a backyard...blah, blah, blah.' I'm spending a fraction of what I know people usually spend, yet I still sometimes feel like I need to explain myself.
