We picked ours pretty much at random b/c we wanted cool, fally, October weather.

We had to move our wedding day from July to the winter, because FH got a promotion and we would have to move .. so now its January 4th, which is our 2 year anniversary! and i couldn't be happier to marry him sooner!

We wanted to do September 13th because that is our anniversary but when we found out how much a saturday night wedding cost we switched to the 14th

We actually wanted a Christmas wedding...but our friend choose the week before the date we wanted and our guest lists overlap by about 75% (in all fairness, she got engaged first...so she got first dibs!)
So since we already knew which reception hall we wanted, we asked how late they keep their Christmas decor up....their last day...January 5!

FH and I always wanted a June/Summer wedding even thought its technically Spring . Our bdays are in June also and a Greek saying is the first of the month is good luck

I have always since high school loved this date and knew I wanted to get married this day. I never thought though that it would end up on a Saturday though.

Our anniversary is July 12 so we wanted something as close as we could get but Sat night was to much $$$$$

i wanted spring b/c it's my favorite season. but i definitely wanted it to be warm out...so we decided on late may. and when i realized we could do a sunday night wedding, but most people would have off the next day we decided it was a good idea since we're poor and need to save money everywhere we can.
lol...so the night before memorial day it is!

NO significance here LOL... Our anniversary is Nov 5 but thats on a weds. So I just threw a date out that was on a sunday and thats the one that we decided LOL... And it cant come soon enough!!!

4/26 is my brothers anniversary!
Its my parents anniversary also. Actually a lot of people I know are married on this day and it almost made me not book the date but everyone said that shouldn't stop me and I might regret not taking the date I really wanted.

we originally wanted to get married on our anniversary but it falls on a Tuesday in 2008.
so we picked the friday that falls before July1st.. then we can celebrate our dating anniversary on our honeymoon.

We knew we wanted a summer month b/c I am a teacher and we wanted to be able to go away for our honeymoon after.
So July was perfect and 7-11 is a date you can't really forget.
Also I like odd numbers better than even numbers. I know it weird, but thats what it is

I wanted to get married in the Bahamas, but FH's family nixed that. They still have to travel here, though. So we had to scramble to find date/hall that was at the end of July so I could have a few weeks after school got out and before it started up again. No significance at all for us!

I wanted a september wedding and thats the only date the East Wind had left for the estate. Our 4 year anniversary will also be on September 12th.. 6 days after our wedding day.

i always wanted a fall wedding... FH was fine with that he hates the hot weather
I wanted end of oct, until mid november...FH really wanted 11-8 (his fave number is 16 and half of 16 is 8 )
i didnt care....
we went to the RH and he told us that the colors are the best the last week in oct, first week in nov... then the weather drops and so do the leaves....
the BM then suggested nov. first bc he can hold it on the spot... anothe rwedding was 'thinking about' the 8th.... so we jumped at it!

well i really wanted the day we got engaged,,but i would have to wait until 2010..no way i was doing that..so we got engaged at 8:15 pm at night..so that worked!!!

We decided we wanted to get married in the summer because FH will be a teacher. I thought August might be nice...then I realized 8/8/08 fell on a Friday night....our catering hall already had a wedding booked that date 2 years in advance. So we decided 8/9/08 because its afternoon we can do a bbq buffet theme.
