More than the greatest love
The world has known
This is the love I'll give to you alone
More than the simple words I try to say
I only live to love you more each day
More than you'll ever know
My arms long to hold you so
My life will be in your keeping
Waking, sleeping, laughing, Weeping
Longer than always is a long, long time
But far beyond forever you'll be mine
*I know I never lived before
And my heart is very sure
No one else could love you more
(Repeat *)
This is my parents wedding song. It's also one of my favorites, and there is a really cool swing version of it too that our band played for them at our wedding. They'll be married 40 years this coming January.
I don't remember what my IL's song is.

Not sure about the ILs, but my parents would have danced to 'My Sweet Lady' by John Denver, had my Grandpa not passed away 5 days earlier.
To make up for it - we played the song at our wedding and gave them the opportunity to dance to their wedding song, albeit 27 years late.
it was such a touching moment too!
