What would you do?????? EDITED to explain more..

I am getting married during the Hurricane season so we are limited where we can go for my Honeymoon. We were going to do Antigua but we are want things to do at night (we are night owl's) and the resort there is just too small and not much to do.
Here's my problem... My FH was married before and they went to Aruba on their Honeymoon. I was dead set on NOT going there because of that.. but the more I think of it and the more FH tells me everything that we can do there and no worries of a hurricane.. I almost want to go.. What would you do?? Would you go to Aruba or find somewhere else???

I just want to also mention that we want night life .. my FH wants to Gamble a little at night so we want to find a place that has casinos! I also want to mention I am in the travel bizz so I need to find something that has travel agent rates! I am so stuck right now!

We're also getting married during hurricane season, and I've also ruled out Aruba because I went on vacation there with my ex a few years back....so I totally understand why you don't want to go back there!!
We're looking at Hawaii and Greece, both have nice weather that time of year!
My travel agent's working on it right now, I'll let you know what she says!

What about Hawaii Chrissy? Not as expensive as you would think and on Maui- LOTS to do at night!! We are the same way, we want things to do at night so some of the islands would be tuff for us. I can understand why you would not want to go to Aruba for the reason you stated- but it's totally up to you... How about somewhere different like Hawaii??

You are right about Antigua-- Vinny went there and it's quiet at night.

Also, Tahiti or Bora Bora?? I just saw Kara's HM review yesterday and it was beautiful-- I'm sure some of the places have nightlife??

The only thing I can really suggest is Hawaii for what you are looking for..

Even though it will 100% not be the same as when he went before Chris, I can see why you are hesitating.

I would contact some Travel Agents and get ideas. It is always good to sit down with one also, instead of just looking on-line.

I am sure there are a ton pf places you can go.

Honestly, I would pick somewhere else. It would bother me too much to know he had gone there on his first honeymoon.

i happen to be going ot aruba....so I am prejiduce and always encourage it. However, in your situation there is NO WAY I would go there on my honeymoon. NO WAY.

I know that there are a gazillion wonderful destinations for that time of year. Call a travel agent and get some suggestions....this is your honeymoon and should in no way be remeniscent of your FH previous marraige.

Hmmmmm, I'm not sure if any places in Hawaii have gambling??

You might be best with a cruise?? I know they have great nightlife and a casino...

are you interested in a cruise? it would bother me too to know my FI went on his honeymoon the same place we would go. im doing a cruise around the southern caribbean. FM me if u want more info. but im big into the nightlife too...and this ship seems to have it.

I would LOVE to do Bahamas!! That is my second choice. I really need to see when Hurricans have hit down there in the past!
