Well, I had been selling oranges on the side of the street in Sunnyside California. My now fi was selling grapefruits across the street. He stole one of my customers, so I started throwing oranges at him. He threw one back, broke my glasses, and a passerby yelled at him to apologize. Turns out, he offered to take me to a fruit bar for dinner. Low and behold, one year later, he proposed on the very same street where our fruit fight occurred.

I wasn't too surprised or anything.

Edited to say: I did cry, but only because I had to sacrifice my Giorgio Armani glasses to find the love of my life.

We got engaged at the top of the Montauk light house. It was so nice!

At the Essex House hotel. At first I didnt believe him and when I realized he was serious and put the ring on my finger I thought I would never stop crying!

during christmas time...we stayed in the city, went to dinner, saw a show and then went back to our hotel and he proposed with flowers and champagne.

We got engaged at the beach in the pouring rain under an umbrella.

At the bough (?) of our cruise ship (Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas) while at sea going to St. Thomas, staring at the stars. It was very romantic...but funny because it was SO dark, I couldn't even see the ring!!! I told him that it proves how much I love him because I accepted his proposal without even seeing the ring. I accepted, he put it on my finger and I said, 'can we get to a light so I can see what it looks like?' The whole thing was too funny to cry.

We got engaged outside of Il Cielo restaurant in Beverly Hills. He got down on one knee in front of a limo that was waiting for us outside the restaurant. I felt like a princess

He proposed in central park. It was very romantic - he had 2 dozen roses and sang 'Bed of Roses' to me before getting down on one knee. I actually didn't cry, but I almost hyperventilated!!!

In our living room, next to the Christmas tree, my ring was hanging on it like an ornament.

We spent the day at the wineries & then he proposed after dinner outside at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor- What a beautiful day, I'll never forget it!

At sunset in Newport, Rhode Island overlooking the water. I never thought he would propose there because I couldn't believe he walked around with the ring for two days I didn't know it. He had it in his pocket the entire time.
