I was sitting at my computer desk and he sat on the arm of the couch. he asked me to listen to a song he claimed to have just downloaded (which I later found out he had been saving for when he proposed). Part of the song went 'I swear someday I'm gonna marry you' ... and that's when he pulled the ring out of his pocket.

...in my sister's kitchen this past Passover. FH asked me the FIFTH question, 'will you marry me?' after we had translated the Hebrew 4 questions into English at the seder.

on the beach in ocean city, NJ in january
i had to take the praxis for grad school at my school ( stockton college) he came with me and hung out in the school library while i took the test... afterwards, he took me out to a nice dinner and then wanted to take a ride to the beach... i thought he was nuts cause it was freezing, but went with it anyway... we walked out onto the beach and he knelt in the sand and asked me i was so excited but cold so we went right back to the car.... then he surprised me again and told me he had gotten us a room at this gorgeous winery hotel that i had always wanted to stay at

On the beach in Barbados New Years Eve right before midnight and a HUGE fireworks show! It was PERFECT!

The first time he proposed was in the recovery room of Mary Immaculate hospital after his back surgery, but there was no ring and he was still groggy from anesthesia, lol. But the second time was 3 months later in our bed and he had a ring.

On the way back from a cruise to Bermuda. We had fought practically the whole trip so I looked at him like he was nuts when he got down on one knee. Then when he asked if I would marry him, I replied 'Yeah sure.' We joke about it now!

Foxwoods, during Mystrey Envelope Bingo. There was a card in my envelope asking me to Marry Him, then there he was with the ring. The whole place cheered it was very romantic and cute! 7/2/2004
