1. preserving their dress 2. preserving their flowers 3. freezing their cake for 1 yr anniversary
i just froze the cake - thats about it -
drying up flowers is bad luck and my train on my dress is ruined after saturday so i dont see the point
what do you ladies think?

I will preserve my dress.. I would like to put my flowers in a shadow box and hang them. I had an obsession with dried flowers

I'm not doing any of these. I don't want to eat something that's been in the freezer for 12 months -- I'll just have the same bakery make up a new identical cake top for my one year anniversary. I will probably have my dress cleaned but not preserved in a box.

preserve dress amd flowers - the cake lololol will be lucky to last a day.
for our one year we will go back to the same bakery and order a small cake

I'm going to do all three! I'm very sentimental like that and save everything. I'm not just going to dry my flowers out myself though, i'm going to use that Keepsake floral place and have it framed!
I'm very sentimental and save everything too!! I'm doing all three. Don't know which way I'm preserving the flowers yet, since the professional way can get expsensive, but I like the framing/shadowbox idea. I can't imagine not preserving my dress. I know it's really just fabric and lace, but I'm soooo attached to it! And I'm definitely looking forward to the tradition of taking out the cake top on our 1st anniversary.

dress and cake i guess....
not excited abotu the cake.. Already had my friends and it was gross a year after....
dress will hopefully be made into a chirstening outfit...

And we already started to eat the cake. I mean come on...that would be gross in a year!!

we froze the cake but are eating it for our 1 month anniversary. A lot of my friends have gotten sick from eating their year-old cake, so we don't want to go through that. lol For our 1 year, i am getting a replica of the cake made, and scaled down.
My gown got destroyed bc the bustle broke. I have to see what happens when i get it cleaned...not sure if I am having it preserved.
My flowers are dried and in a cute basket in my bathroom lol
