Can you tell me who is paying for your wedding gown?? and how this came about? If someone else is paying- did you ask? did they offer?

Between my dad, aunt and my brother they paid for half and i paid for the rest ( it was a lot) my brother paid for a very big portion

My mom is paying for mine. It is separate from my general budget from my parents (an account they started when I was born). She told me out of the blue one day that she wanted to pay for it separately.

FH parents are paying for the wedding and are paying for my dress.
My mom is paying for the alterations.

My mom is paying for mine. She said that her father paid for her's but since mine is deceased she will pay for mine.

I wanted to go Vera Wang, so I decided I was paying for my own gown. I didn't want to hear anything about the price from anyone. I made up my mind & was NOT going to compromise. When it came down to it FH suprised me & paid for my gown.

My aunt is paying for my dress. My mom passed away 13 years ago and my aunt said she was paying for my dress for my mom who would have paid for it had she still been with us.

I thought I was paying for it myself, but my mom suprised me when I went to finalize the bm dress order she paid my balance on my dress

I'm paying for one gown. 'Course, I haven't yet started shopping, because I want to go with my mom and she lives out of state, so when she plans a trip up here (from Florida) that all could change.
I'm wearing a traditional white dress for the ceremony and an Indian bridal lehnga for the reception. FH's mom and dad will be paying for the lehnga.
