Who saw Jay Leno tonight? They where talking about Bill O'Reilly and they said he was from Levittown and ...

The guest (whats his name.????) said Bill isnt From Levittown he's from Westbury. And then Jay goes but he says hes form Levittown which is a poor neighborhood

That is not the first time that I have hear Levittown reffered to that way. Its a shame that they dont even have a clue what the town actually looks like and they are so quick to say its bad! Let them come and see Levittown, I bet its nicer than 90% of the towns that these people who are watching are living in!

i have family in Levittown... i dont go there much but i dont remember it being a 'poor town'

I freaking Grew up in Levittown. The houses today go for 350,000.00

all the houses i remember were nice.. big too... maybe theres a 'bad' part he was referrign to? but every town has its 'bad' part.

Levittown is a terrible neighborhood..if you compare it to greenwich. People will say anything. this guy I knew in college was like 'i was born in this $h!t ghetto toen, Ozone Park' and I was like 'SAY WHAAA??'

I think Westbury and Wataugh are both very nice. Then again where I live is a 'ghetto' so you never know. I don't judte neighborhoods like that, usually. I mean, what makes a neighborhood bad in people's eyes? A lot of 'minorities?' a lot of small, old shops? I don't know.

ETA: i think people na just be snobby. I knew a lot of people in college who talked so much Shat about the south shore, and how low class it is, etc. And all the while I'm thinking what they'd think if they dared venture to queens to see my neighborhood, which i think for the most part is very nice and very safe. It was safer when John Gotti was around, but still!

ok so then nevermind the westbury/wantagh talk! yeah im ORIGINALLY from CI.. but i lie and say Hauppauge. in ci i was the minority .... we moved into hauppauge when i hit 14 but i was a minority there too.... in the sense that i wasnt JAPpy. but i like hauppauge smithtown commack area, when i move back to buy a house i want to be in that region
