get out of here!! my answer is NO NO NO NO !! i live with my parents for 25yrs of my life ... im soo good!! i guess explain to him that i dont want any potential problems etc etc

his mother is coming up to the states and intially she was going to live with her sister....
he is considering his mother to live with him... which will be eventually US... NO NO NO !!

If it were a case where she was unable to care for herself and there was no one else who could help, then I would have her (or even his father) live with us.
If it's just to try and save $$, then not so much. I wouldn't want to live with any parents for that matter.

Well we live downstairs from FMIL, its a 2 family house and he proposes that when we have kids and buy a house that she live with us so she can take care of the kids for the couple of years..I am considering that..it depends on the relationship and the living situation. I would not want to be one apt with her but if she lived downstairs and you could have your privacy..it all depends.

We live in the same building as FMIL...she comes over like everyday FH & I are annoyed equally. When the lease is up were sooooo out of there!
Its cool sometimes but more often then not its super annoying.

I have a wonderful relationship with my FMIL. NO WAY would I want to live with her. That goes for my Mother too! FH & I are in such a groove there is no way I would change that. I know FH would agree. If your FH didn't take your answer so well.....oh well! You need to be straight up with him..........for better or worse..............to take it or not!
