I'd rather have cusion room, & get as much done in advance as possible, that way as our day approaches I'll have less to worry about

It's up to you. We're getting married under a chuppa, we ordered our ketuba, we're dancing the hora, as well as the mezula? (I forget how it spell it, it's the dance done around the parents after they marry off their last child)
I want white satin, not sure how they will look...

Re: yarmukahs?
Nicole - I'd buy some, so that those who are religious have the option of putting it on for the ceremony

that would be the ideal, but if your ceremony is in a catering hall you can chose not too according to the Rabbi & Cantor, this is new to me

I've been told there are a lot of places on the east side (not sure where exactly tho). Ask your rabbi, otherwise you could probably try ebay or some of the other sites.
Just curious, where did you get your ketubah? I have one at home somewhere that I bought more than 10 years ago in Israel....I really have to see if my dad still has it. I didn't realize what it was until I got home....I didn't kno any better I was only 17 at the time.
We're trying to keep with the traditions as well. The chuppah, glass hora, mazinka (I think thats what you are talking about).

I know,. even tho, our wedding is before sundown on the sabbath I think it would look nice, there are customs from the ceremony that I really like, I like the idea of both my parents walking me down, what the chuppa symbolizes, and the circeling 3x.
