Your Wedding Date

We chose 5/30/14 because I am currently in grad school part-time and I will graduate on 5/23 so 5/30 was the first day we COULD get married -- and we didn't want to wait any longer :)

Yeah suzystar829 date twin!!

We chose 5/30/14 because May 30th is our anniversary so we wanted to keep it simple so he would not get confused and miss our wedding anniversary in the future!!

BUMPING since we have so many new ladies. Also figured I'd answer this now that we have a date.

Our date has zero significance. I wanted summer, june or july. FH preferred june. 6/20 and 6/27 were available & fh said 6/20/14 is a nice round & 'clean' number so 6/20/14 it is

Your Wedding Date

There really is no significance to our wedding date. We picked Saturday dates from April to June that weren't too close to any holidays. We were originally looking to get married at the end of May but the banquet manager at the Swan Club said the flowers would prettier in June so June 7th it is!

We chose our wedding date because the number 15 is significant in our relationship with dates and the numbers 3/7/14 add up to 15. 3+7+1+4= 15. We both have a tattoo of the number 15.

Your Wedding Date

I originally wanted August 2nd because it's my parents anniversary but Fh hates being hot so he nixed the summer. I hate being cold so I vetoed the winter and I didn't want to do spring because my allergies are nuts. So we chose the Sunday before Columbus day because a lot of people will be off the next day

We chose our wedding date because that was the first day we spoke on the phone after we exchanged numbers. LOL! Some might say 'How can you remember the date of your first phone call?' My FH sent me an email to confirm that my number was right. ;o)

I can relate! My fiance texted me for the first time on 8/14/11 (8+1+4+1+1= 15) after I gave him my number two days prior. We both have weird work schedules so he wasn't sure if I could talk so he sent me a text. He asked me to be his gf on 9/22/11 (9+2+2+1+1= 15). The number 15 pops up in significant dates of our relationship, hence why we chose our wedding date with this in mind. Is it weird that we noticed that??? LOL...

6/20/14 has no significance for us either. Originally we wanted the end of May since that is the time period we met but did not want Memorial day weekend. After checking out different venues and hearing that they generally plant the flowers in May and they are not in full bloom until June, FH and decided we would do June. When we fell in love with the Sand Castle the only June dates they had left were 6/20 and 6/27. We went home to think everything over. Two days later BM called us and said 6/27 was just booked. That night after work, we went straight to the Sand Castle and put our deposit down.

That's an awesome story! Another reason we liked our wedding date was because 5 is my lucky number and ironically my FH has (5) brothers.

Oh it's not weird at all you notice the relevance of the number 15. I think it's cute!

Your Wedding Date

When FH and I were talking about getting married we both wanted a date that was easy to remember since we're both really bad with dates. I couldn't remember our dating anniversary for the life of me (I actually had to call my mom and ask her bc that was the day she got let go from her job). So I was like well what about like... 11.12.13 or 12.13.14 as a joke and he really liked that idea. We decided on 12.13.14 because its the last of the consecutive numbers for a while :) Then when he actually proposed... he proposed on 12.13.12 during the meteor shower. We also had our first date on the 13th of october so we thought it just has a lot of meaning.

Your Wedding Date

Mine is Pearl Harbor Day. I originally wanted 1/4/14, but it was already booked (I wanted the Christmas decorations). I'm not thrilled about that and worry that it comes off as disrespectful, but it was the only feasible Saturday in December.

Your Wedding Date

We booked 5/25/14 (Sunday of Memorial Weekend). We picked it 1) because we got Sunday pricing for basically a Saturday since everyone is off on Memorial Day and 2) Because it is so nice to be able to spend a long weekend with the family. Now they can come on Friday and stay through Monday and 3) because our friends in the bridal party that live out of town won't have to take of work to travel to NY for the rehearsal and everything. They can come in on Saturday & go home on Monday so that they don't have to use any vacation days from work :)

Hi date triplet! (Stine Bean...where are you? lol)

Those are pretty much the same reasons why we chose 5/25/14 also. The only additional reasons are b/c one of FH's sisters is Jewish and conservative. Since she's a BM, we couldn't do a Friday night and Saturday evening wouldn't leave enough time for her to get ready, so Sunday it was! Plus the added perks of having a long weekend for our future anniversaries doesn't hurt

Exactly this but the Sunday of Columbus day weekend (10/12/14)! And I liked the consecutive even numbers!
