Old Westbury garden for ceremony and reception

Does anyone have any reviews regarding the Old Westbury Gardens for a ceremony and reception at Orchard hill?

Check out this website this should help you!! I think you prob have to bring everything in from the outside. I saw that it was $2,000 site fee for the gardens not sure the rental fee for Orchard hill.

Re: Old Westbury garden for ceremony and reception

It is so expensive, but if you can afford it it's beautiful. Orchard hill can only hold like a 100 guests! so you would have to have a tent outside if it's more than 100. Ceremony alone is $2000.

Re: Old Westbury garden for ceremony and reception

i went to orchard hill to look and decided not to have my wedding there. My wedding is in the summer and they dont have central air, only window air conditioners and to have everyone sit together you would have to use a tent. i didn't want to use a tent so i said no. hope this helps!

Re: Old Westbury garden for ceremony and reception

if you click on the forms link there is alot more information about the pricing and the 'dos and donts'

their ceremonies are held in the Garden of Appreciation...The woman I spoke to told me that particular garden area is very plain and simple because they can't risk having chairs and other equipment damaging the 'nicer' garden areas

if it rains, they put up a a tent outside which is an additional 900 dollars

they do not have an indoor ceremony option

and yes the ceremony fee is 2k

ETA: they do provide the chairs for the ceremony but thats it, they said you are on your own the day of to handle everything
