Sweating in your wedding dress???

Are you guys worried about your underarms sweating on your wedding dress and then leaving a yellow stain from the deodorant? Do you guys know what Im talking about?

I just remembered at my friends wedd , I was a BM and all the girls were sweating and you can see the deodorant and sweat on the dresses

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

I am alwasy HOT so I am concerned about sweating. However, my dress is not that heavy so that's good. Do you know that you can get botox in your armpits to stop the sweat glands? I'm not too sure of the procedure but I was reading about it awile ago in my dermotologist office....

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

i didnt think about sweating onto my dress......great - something else to worry about!

i think that the fabric on the top of my dress is pretty thick so it would probably take ALOT of sweat to soak through it enough to make a stain that would be noticeable

I have to say, i paid 10 bucks for that deoderant, and it was the WORST, i know so many people rave about it, but it actually did nothing for me, i still was sweating and it stained my clothes white

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

On a daily basis, I dont sweat alot, my sis has that prob of sweating alot all year round. But I know running around, and in June, Im bound to sweat. My material is thick too, maybe it wont show

I guess its also the material. At my friends wedd as a BM we were wearing a thin material and you can see the sweat stains , that annoys me

NOT SURE if its anything like clear & dri but if it is start using it a little bit before the wedding and not the day before...when i first started using clear & dri along with everyone else i know who uses it, you itch NON-stop and you get these weird sharp pains here throughout the day, well not sharp badly but kinda this pinching sensation...sometimes it itches so bad and you just cant stop for a while

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

Relax ladies, I got married in the beautiful July heat, wore a silk strapless dress, and I sweated some. But it didn't stain my dress!

Wear a clear deoderant, reappy if needed and you will be fine. TRUST ME!

BTW: Becareful with the botox shots. You don't want to try and stop your body from sweating, which it what this does because one, you need to sweat to keep yourself cool especially in the summer, you don't want to be passing out. And 2, if you stop the sweat from coming out from one place, you are going to start sweting heavily in others, like you face (MAKING FOR SOME NICE SHININESS), umm...down there , the back of your legs, feet.

Edited for spelling

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

I worried about this...What I got was Clinical strength secret and put in on about a 1/2 hour before putting the dress on so it was fully dry...It seemed to work well
