I also have Renaud's, which is an autoimmune that is linked to my diabetes. Makes my fingers and toes turn blue/purple/white if I am outside in sub 50 degree weather for more than 10 minutes.
I have Renauds too Ali!! So does my mom and grandma! It makes skiing really hard, DH always gets mad at me because I have to go in every 2 runs
I also have cystic ovaries, diagnosed when I was 17 after a couple of them burst and I was rushed to the hospital. I've been on BC ever since and am really scared to come off if we ever want kids!
I also have a heart murmur that I've had since I was really little, I have to take antibiotics before I go to the dentist and I had to have so many checkups in high school because I played sports.
Other than those, Im normal

Re: anyone else?
Besides being in the end stages of a high risk pregnancy...thats been causing a lot of agony when i move? This may be a little TMI but i get constant UTI's which unfortunately caused my pregnancy to become high risk. I have a shoulder that refuses to stay in the socket and if i turn the wrong way it'll pop out and be extremely painful. The surgery i had years ago never fixed it. Oh and I'm allergic to latex.

i have super high cholesterol - have had it my whole life - and no matter how much i diet or exercise it is NEVER below 200 - im on medication now, which i hate, but it's either that or heart attack at 35
i just have to be super careful not to get preggers because it could cause birth defects
Does the cholesterol cause birth defects or does the medication tat you are on cause it?
the medication causes them
I'm on niaspan which is prescription strength niacin. it's the first step before going to something like lipitor or crestor. but it still has the same effect unfortunately

I'm hoping to get it regulated, but it's been a battle my whole life. even when i was like 100 lbs i still had high cholesterol.
but it could be worse - I'm happy this is the only real ailment i have

Re: anyone else?
I was in a bad car accident about two weeks before our wedding. It caused my meniscus to separate from the joint, which I had to have surgically corrected. I also have three bulging discs in my spine and nerve damage from the accident. I go to the chiropractor and the physical therapist 3 times a week, which eats up so much of my time. I have not had a pain free day since late June. Ugh!

I also have pcos, and just recently got a very bad herniated disc that was so bad I couldn't even walk. Luckily I've been feeling better after having a cortisone shot and going to physical therapy. The dr told me the best way to control pcos is weight loss, and a healthy diet & exercise. That's what I've been doing! It's my first time off birth control pills in years so I'm waiting to see if my period regulates. I hope you have better luck with your health, I understand how frustrating it can be

Re: anyone else?
I also have cystic ovaries that I found out about when I was about 18/19 years old after I had some burst on me. I was in so much pain I thought my appendix burst so we went to the ER. I've been on BC ever since but hoping when I come off of it, nothing bursts again. My sister's an OBGYN so she's usually good with answering my questions or keeping me on track with things.I have had 4 knee surgeries and now have tendenitious in one knee and arthitis in the other knee. They are constantly clicking and popping and sitting or standing too long they hurt. But that never stops me from wearing my 4' heels!
I have low blood pressure so we just have to make sure I have something to eat on hand and an emergency contact in case I pass out. Nothing else I can do about it. The medication I'm on for something else lowers my blood pressure more so I have a machine at home to take my pressure every so often.
I suffer from cluster headaches or 'sucidial headaches' (because people have committed sucide to make the pain stop - I've only offered them to drill holes into my head). It feels like Hulk Hogan took a 2X4 and smashed me on the side of the head. The pain will last about 45-60 minutes if not treated right away. I have an oxygen tank at home for when I have an attack and nose spray for when I'm on the go. I can go months without an cluster but when the clusters come on its about 7 headaches a day and makes it hard to work. I recently got a numbing agent injection into the head but it seems not to have worked and I'm scared the doctor is going to want to put me on lithium. We'll find that out tomorrow but a lot of the medication I cannot be on when pregnant so again my sister comes in handy with that too. They say only about 1% of the population have these headaches...lucky me!
O! And I'm asthmatic...
I hope we all find relief in our problems one day ladies!!!!

I have high cholesterol too. I've had it since I was 6. My dad's entire family has sky high cholesterol. They haven't put me on meds yet, but I'm pretty certain it is inevitable.
I have lots of cysts in my breasts. They're not painful at all, but it really throws me off when I'm checking my breasts. I don't know what's a cyst or not.
I have a deviated septum and it drives me INSANE. Now that I'm DH's good insurance, I am hoping to have a procedure to fix it. I hope it doesn't mess up my nose!
In September, I was taking a shwoer and as I was washing my breasts I could have sworn I felt a lump so I made an appointment with my OBGYN and she let me know that it was really only an inflamed rib that I was feeling but she had told me that I had cystic breasts. I had and continue to have no idea what this is and I asked her if I should be worried and she said no. But, any clarification you could give me would be great!
My OBGYN was actually the one who found my cysts. I have a cluster of many of them all in a bunch, so altogether they equal like 1.5 inches of cystic mass. They're really just liquid masses in there and nothing to worry about at all, but I'm surprised she didn't send you to get a sonogram to be sure. I went to check on them every 6 months. My doctor's name is Dr. Trongone, he's in Manahsset. If he finds anything, he'd send you for a sonogram.
